Ban decisively. Faster, stronger, and more durable by quite a large margin. Stealing the laxus's own strength makes it even worse.
Ban high diffs. They are actually on the same tier of power IMO(small island-solid island level). But ban's got the speed advantage, and most especially hax like hunter fest, which would make laxus weaker and ban stronger, snatch, fox hunt etc...Ban might even win midiff with these abilities.
@mevbi: What feats does ban have that makes him stomp without even draining him?
@el_directo_: I'm sure you are aware of most of them.
@mevbi: I am. I just don't remember him doing anything above island level(which is where laxus sits at in power). He could 'maybe' be largeisland Level if we scale him to stronger opponents he's fought but that's it.
@el_directo_: Fighting on par with characters that would stomp Laxus (Dk Meliodas) means Ban himself would have no problem stomping Laxus either. Going off with feats, can you show me what makes Laxus and Ban comparable. Ban scales to Dk Mel and easily could be argued low-mid sub relativistic, which from what I know is far faster than Laxus. Also what Laxus can do to harm Ban?

Ban tanked this. This attack dwarfed the one that wiped out Camelot.
Time to face reality.
Ban wins against Laxus with mid-diff. They should be comparable DC wise but on hax Ban is his superior which is what will give him the win here.
@trippygod: What the size of Camelot? Isn't it a city? And don't tell me its a country just because its called one.
That attack looks very vague af. The curvature is the only thing that makes it looks impressive but the author completely butchered the feat by literally showing how buildings compare to it. In AOE, its only looks like large mountain size at most(of course its much higher in ap, probably large island+). I can't remember some of ban's feat but if he really tanked that then yeah he should be comfortably above laxus and he should lowdiff this fight. He stomps if he uses any of his hax.
@mevbi: 👆
See my above post. I agree that ban lowdiffs now even without his hax but,
Did ban really fight on par with dk Mel tho? I remember everybody and their mothers fighting with dk Mel.
Laxus has can casually fire off large mountain size(it was taller than several layers of clouds) L-nukes pretime-skip. His red lightning is even much much stronger than that. He also scales much above characters that have large mountain - small island level feats(Celestial spirit king, Mard geer, ikusatsunagi, natsu, gray & erza). I initially thought he could pretty much handle ban in a power battle(minus hax) not until I was reminded of the sighing sage feat.
Then he also has fairylaw which could ko ban if he pulls it off, but i doubt ban is just gonna watch and wait for his opponent cast some very telegraphed flashy spell to be used against him. He would probably stop him in his tracks before then.
About speed, how is dk Mel subrel? Wasn't it dk Zel that did the lightning statuing feat? And his magic was being powered/enhanced by the lake iirc. Ban doesn't scale to that IMO.
@floridaman29: This is current ban so he isn't immortal. OP already restricted it too.

This was the one that wiped Camelot out.
On this one he crushed Demon King Meliodas head on the ground.
@floridaman29: Yeah, Ban is not immortal
@ragegod: random unneeded reinforcement that ban is immortal in italics when I already know now Ban isn't immortal
Also since Ban has no immortality it could go either way, as long as Laxus can beat him before his energy is drained then Laxus wins otherwise Ban wins
