Kwannon and Psylocke (Betsy Braddock) run a melee gauntlet

2 variations for this gauntlet. the 1st one is purely hand to hand combat. the 2nd variation, everyone gets 1 katana or sword

Rules are as follows

Fully restored each round

No gear aside from specific katana for the 2nd variation

No powers for everyone

No adamantium for those to whom it applies

not overly familiar with everyone here. I think they could clear the 1st 4 rounds, but hard stop at logan and t'challa

I’ll think on this one. I’d rate Kitty & Storm above Mystique and Black Cat.

Just to make sure I’m clear - is this Betsy Braddock as CB (no powers but also not clear on whether she retained her martial arts skills IIRC)? It makes a difference to me if they can make it passed rounds 1 or 2.

Kindly take her as having her martial arts skills for this thread

However, on a side note, I don't believe there is any canon statement to say that she has lost her martial arts skill. In Exaclibur she mentions that she has experience with the covert world and stealth which tells me she retained her skills from her ninja days

In my opinion, she retains her skills but it is simply not how she is portrayed to fight as Captain Britain. Her body may have changed but I don't think that's a reason for her to have lost her skills

In R1, they stop at 3 or 4

R2, they definitely stop at 4

@onsipin: fair enough. Tough fights all the way through but nice gauntlet.

Round 1 - I think they could stop at 2 based on fatigue from round 1, but can make it to 3 at most.

Round 2 - Kitty is pretty bad a$$ with a sword (her best melee weapon imho) and isn’t that far behind Betsy in terms of swordsmanship. And Mystique gave a decent challenge when they fought 1-on-1 with swords (though Raven did need her shapeshifting). I think they would stop at 4.

@thunderbolt30: Oh I made a mistake with the OP. They are supposed to be restored after each round. thank you for pointing that out.
