Kryptonians vs Viltrumites

@smart_dork_dude: I thought the same thing but a year one mark could fly in space where it's freezing negating the freeze breath he could also Swim in lava negating the heat vision and he could fly at very fast speeds which would neutralize the super breath. So in all the only thing the kryptonians have is there hearing and extra sights as long as they are in a yellow sun viltrumites have there powers no matter what unless the get the scourge virus.

Kryoptonians win, but not in a stomp. None of them are Superman level at all. None.

That's one of his lower showing and it doesn't really happened that often, and in fact, post-resurrection long-haired Superman is considered the weakest portrayal of all post-crisis Superman. After he got his hair cut, the portrayal of Superman has become ever more powerful. Most of Superman's best feats are after he returned to his normal looks (it was written by different set of authors too).

I don't know the Viltrumites will give these kryptonians a good fight...

Depends on how old and powerful the Viltrumites are. Unless this is Thragg level people Kryptonians stomp.

Kryptonians are way to strong and blood lusted is a done deal

Yet you still have characters like Lobo who is no way a planet buster, or moon buster, or mountain buster yet harms Superman. Aquaman has been able to harm Superman with a single punch. Grundy like wise is no way better than Hulk at all in feats, yet he harms Superman. Even the Shaggy man/General who has no real feats other fighting Super Man has harmed Superman.

Some versions of Superman gets harmed by Nukes and Missiles too, or even weak alien lasers.

Superman is inconsistent as all get out in feats, he can tank Solar System busting attacks (Super Nova) but gets harmed by things WAAAAAAAAAY less than that in many more stories.

Kryptonians lose. Viltrumites fight better

the thing I feel most people are forgetting is that, Superman isn't the average Kryptonian. He's far above what the average Joe-El (haha get it?) would be in terms of power. Mon-El was a Kryptonian too and he was hilariously weaker than Superman, so is Super-girl, power girl, and almost every other Kryptonian that comes across earth.

I dont know much about Viltrumites yet, but I feel like this is a very important note people are forgetting. Superman >>>>> the average Kryptonian, so using his feats are not legitimate for this debate.

Aren't Kryptonians better in every way?

@uugieboogie: meh, depends on the Kryptonian. Supergirl and Zod and Faora are not nearly as good as Supes by feats. But Kryptonians have heat vision, and super senses, and sun dipping that Viltrumites do not have.

Don't know much about Viltrumites but I was told they had super senses and a form of heat vision as well. Are there any Viltrumites that could beat Kryptonians like Kara, Zod and Faora?

Kryptonians, they have various powers that Viltrumites dont have and also, Viltrumites lack physical feats to be in the same leaque. Viltrumites are tho more brutal and better with battle. Would be nice fight but still they lose.

It would take 100,000 Kryptonians at most.

I always thought Thragg would be smart enough not to fight them where they would have a disadvantage. They're a race of warriors has to be some strategist with them. Viltrumites could hold their breath for 2 weeks, unless i'm wrong Kryptonians can hold there breath for hours. While they might not be as strong as K's, they have incredible endurance. I'd take the fight to space, knocking the wind out of someone could be really detrimental.

Kryptonians are still more powerful, heat vision and other abilities combined...not to mention the sun.

If the Kryptonians were stripped of their abilities (Ice breath, heat vision, x-ray vision, the extraneous stuff), and started with same power level as the Vitrumites, then they'd lose.

IMO, the Vitrumites are better fighters since they're a warmongering race.

However, as of right now, there's too much going for the Kryptonians, most notable their ability to sundip.

Kryptonians due to the sun being the source of their powers. Therefore, they more radiation they absorb, the more powerful they become. Although Viltrumites are much dangerous combatants, they lack long range abilities like heat-vision, and super-breath, which would put them at a disadvantage.

This fight isn't every Kryptonian vs. every Viltrumite. It's 40,000 of each, but they are their race's regular inhabitants. While Kryptonians have better stats, Viltrumites are more war-like and better trained.

Kryptonians would win.

Viltrumites are comparable to Kryptonians in that they have incredible strength, speed, endurance, and the ability to fly. Their durability, on the other hand, is on a far smaller scale. They wouldn't have stood a chance against the people of Krypton if it weren't for their regenerative powers.

@leviagbon123: lol literally all the remaining viltrumites were fighting then a planet blew up in their faces, the worst that happened to some of em was getting knocked out for a short while, most of em just kept fighting like nothing happened

The Kryptonians win. Viltrumites grow more powerful the older they become, but Kryptonians are inarguably more powerful no matter their age while under a Yellow Sun; they're basically Superman's standard level of power.

Kryptonians curbstomp. Far more powerful and versatile. Superman alone could solo all of the high tier Viltrumites.

It truly depends on the kryptonian if it has only spent a little time in sunlight then the viltrumite wins if the kryptonian has spent a long time under the sun then the kryptonian wins
