Kronos ( Wrath of the titans ) vs The Avengers ( Movie )

Kronos:

Avengers: Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Iron man, Hawkeye, Black Widow.

I don't see how they could win. Thor would be the key. If he charged up he might be able to destroy Kronos. The rest are useless except Iron Man.

kronos wins here because he was destroying mountains easily he was just moving forward he also defeated zeus and hades together and the only weapon capable of defeating him is the spear of trium

By looking at the trailer the OP posted, besides you should have put the spoiler.

If you haven't seen the movie, don't debate. If you must debate, don't expect spoiler warnings. You're making the choice to debate on something you have little knowledge of, therefore your demands should be overlooked. Back on topic; Kronos would slaughter them. Thor may get some good shots in. But that won't be enough to put the Elder God down; nothing else could, except for the Spear of Triam which was the only way to kill him.

Thor Solos with casual lightning bolt ............. the rest either die or retreat ....... Movie Thor was stronger than all the gods in Wrath/Clash of the titans ..... he has better feats ...... like downing two giant chitauri beast whale things in one lightning shot ....... Kronos wasn't that big .... all he did was wave his arms around and slide around like a slug ..... he one shotted a bunch normal people .... Zues and Hades were weakened and were lame too ..... Thor doesn't need some stupid spear to own Kronos ..... just whirl that hammer around faster than helicopter blades and chuck it ..... or charge up a energy shot .... thats all ....

@justleader: you obviously don't know Thor's parents..

Thor - God stuck doing Solo.  Since they are both gods, it's really hard to tell.
Hulk - Definitely Weaker than Kronos.  He still didn't manage to kill Loki after smashing him around for like 3secs.
Captain America - Cowers behind his shield while Kronos steps on him.  Shield survives, but Captain goes SPLAT!
Iron man - shoots his laser into Kronos face and Kronos swats at him with his hands.  Ironman is forced to pull back after using lots of power and still doing 0 damage.  Or Ironman actually gets hit by Kronos' hand and gets hit backwards like half way across the globe.
Hawkeye - Shoots Arrows at Kronos.  Kronos steps on him.
Black Widow - Probably gets stepped on  as well or she manages to have enough agility to dodge his big feet, but manages to do nothing.

Kronos wins. Thor is a godling, the combined might of Zeus & Hades together couldn't take down Kronos, a special, godly weapon was required to destroy Kronos.

Movie Thor ain't soloing nothing here, all of them die and Kronos wins

Thor is the best one in this but still loses, Zeus's Lightning attack is no joke, Perseus uses Zeus's Lightning in the first movie to send Hades flying true the air and then banishing to the Underword in the process, yet when Zeus attacks Kronus he only was hurt a little, later on Hades join with Zeus and attack them both together with an combined attack with shook the entire ground yet it did nothing to Kronus. Thor's lighting in the movie is strong but i doubt its as strong as Zeus/Hades combined attack.

No, unfortunately they don't. As I stated before, which is emphasize in the movie; the only way to destroy Kronos is to use the Spear of Triam. In which the Avengers have no way of getting.

Fine then, they don't "slaughter", but take it. There are other ways to kill a god/titan, many have considered one invulnerable except by a certain weapon, but other weapons have destroyed that person all the same. For example, Odin's spear Gungnir.

That's an interesting tale, but that has nothing to do with this battle. Odin is not part of the Avengers, and since the Avengers are not allowed access to Asgard to collect Odin's spear, let alone have any access to any form of weapon outside of their own, they are not killing Kronos. They lose, pretty badly at that. If the combined weapons of Zeus, Hades and Poseidon was the only weapon able to destroy Kronos, that means nothing else can. Don't know how to be clearer of that.

Mjolnir is stated to have similar powers.... and is one of the most powerful Nordic relics/weapons. Mjolnir can:

*Can strike has firmly as Thor wants.

*Hammer will never fail

*It would never miss, nor would it ever fly so far it cannot find its way back into his hand. Mjolnir has flown through planets to return to Thor's hand.

*It has the power to level/destroy mountains

Nevertheless, just because they existed in different mythologies doesn't bar the fact that target hit by Gungnir = Dead, and it was the only weapon in Greek Mythology that could silence Kronos, not out of all mythologies and other concepts. Kronos has yet to show any feats that allow him to defeat Thor.

If we take Avengers from the movies i think they lose. People can say that Thor's hammer can go true planets and scatter entire mountains and what not but such things are not shown in the Avengers movie. In the movie Zeus attacks first with his lightning, the lightning travels towards Kronus destroying ground while it travels, after it hits Kronus he's like....nothing and walks forward. Later Hades joins in and together with Zeus lighting and Hades Dark Magic attack Kronus together and Kronus only stumbeled and again pushed forward. Thor's lightning bolts shattered countless of those machines that were coming down.... including those giant snakes lol.

Yes I do. The mother is Gaea/Gaia, primordial Titan and the Earth. Ouranos/Uranus is the Titan of the Sky/Heavens, you think you are schooling me? I was once a mythology addict, and Greek Mythology was what I studied the second most. When you study Norse Mythology, come back to me. Odin's spear poseesses immense power, Gungnir always hits and always kills. He has also faced a primordial titan before, Ymir, who he defeated and created the world with. He has fought for far longer than Kronos, fighting with a far wider experience, can wield with expertise a far greater variety of weapons, and from the Well of Mimir, has far more knowledge and foresight. He has faced beings like Fenrir, who, when outstretching his jaws, could swallow the sun, Surtr, who could cover entire worlds in fire, and Jormungandr, who is so large his body encircles the world and he sleeps with his tail in his mouth at the bottom of the ocean. @ _Punk_: thor is a demigod they said it in the tv spots and his mother isnt a god as we have seen in the movie. and did thor destroy a mountain? his biggest feat was in jotenheim with his lightning attack and you think that will stop kronos? hephaeusteus said that kronos will dismantle the earth and scatter it across the universe and in kronos featurre they said that he is the destroyer of the universe which makes sense since he destroyed his father uranus. and did you see kronos' size did you see what mountains where to him? his mere release resulted in a volcanic explosion it is also stated that he spawned the makhai and the chimera which wiped out entire armies so even that would be enough to take out the avengers. and did you really watch the first movie and did you see how powerful was hades? and despite that he not only defeated hades but also the king of the gods zeus

Iron Man is not useless here, I don't know why people are assuming so.

1. Iron Man is super fast, small (in comparison to Kronos), hard to tag, and can withstand extremely high temperatures, even his original suit could withstand those high heats, and it was built in a cave. Over and above this he has an arsenal of explosives that can take out something as big and armored as a tank with relative ease.

2. Hulk should be pretty much immune to anything Kronos can do, and Kronos is not too fast for him. I'm relatively certain that Hulk could knock him around pretty hardcore.

3. Thor can control the weather, he could make it rain, bring forth a tornado, throw lightning bolts, etc. etc. All of which would be extremely harmful to the movie version of Kronos.

4. Captain America would also be pretty useful. He could stay in back and bark orders over a comm system, and direct the team.

5. Black widow would be pretty useless, I'll give you that.

6. Hawkeye could probably cause some damage. Maybe Iron Man could get him a flyer or something and he could get a few well placed arrows off before he was disintegrated.

I think the Avengers should take this.

@Floopay: you realize you cant compare a tank to kronos right? and how exactly could hulk do damage kronos is made of lava hulk will be disintegrated and iron man will be a lava man before he could even try something. thor could manipulate the weather but then again zeus is the god of weather and you know what it didnt stop kronos even the combined attack of zeus and kronos only stoped kronos for a second and this debate should be about how many seconds or miliseconds can the avengers last.
