Atreus has his equipment and runic attacks fully upgraded and is in his Legendary Sharpshooter Garb

Geralt is in his Grandmaster Wolf armor and is fully upgraded. He also has his enhanced Witcher Mutations from the Turn and Face the Strange questline and has Aerondight. He can also use his Superior versions of his potion, oils, and bombs. Ciri is also endgame and in her alternate outfit.

After each boss is defeated the characters gets two hour interval until the next boss.

Who succeeds and why?

BONUS ROUND: Both parties must team up to get through the Shadow of Mordor/War universe and must fight Sauron, The Nazgul, Balrog, and a crap ton of Uruk. How do they fair

Kratos clears until O'Dimm since he lacks Witcher senses and isn't a very intelligent individual. Rather than solving the riddle Mr. Douche attacks O'Dimm and gets a spoon up his ass.

Geralt probably stops at 2, especially since they're fighting in a frozen wasteland that magically saps your soul and strength. Anything that can give Kratos trouble should be leagues above the Witcher in physical attributes, although Geralt's versatility in signs could maybe give him a couple wins.

EDIT: Didn't see Ciri and post-game status. In which case they maybe stop at the Valkyrie Queen via statements from Mimir of her being one of the most OP fighters in Asgard and whatnot. Definitely stops at Baldur who is vastly stronger and faster than both

@thetruthiii: Kratos is actually very tactical in battles and puzzles if you've forgotten. Also Atreus and Mimir are with him and are both highly intelligent individuals

Kratos clears the Witcherverse. Not much to discuss here.

Honestly either Geralt or Ciri should solo the Dark Elf King. The only thing that differed him from fodder elves was a bigger health bar. After taking Kratos by surprise and failing to overpower him, he avoids physical confrontation as much as he can, relying on his ability to conjure darkness, using his scepter to limit Kratos' manouverability with energy traps and using hit-and-run tactic. In fact Geralt and Ciri are in better position to fight him than Kratos and Atreus. Witchers are trained to fight when blindfolded, Geralt can see in the darkness, while Ciri's teleportation would allow her to close the distance between her and the King in a second.

Grendels are just glorified trolls. Geralt and Ciri will take them down.

The Valkyries is when they should stop. Mimir, the most knowledgeable person in GoW universe (maybe except Odin himself), considered any of the Valkyries to be the most formidable opponent he could think off. And it should be noted that by the time Kratos gains access to the Valkyries cells, Mimir has already seen Kratos in action, particularly against Magni and Modi, sons of Thor himself. This indicate a ridiculous level of power and combat prowess.

Kratos clears, and no way is Geralt or Ciri beating any of the Valkyries.

Sorry it took me so long to answer.

This two team combined clear Shadow of Mordor/War universe, maybe except Sauron. Orcs are fodder and the Nazguls are not much better. They were never described (or shown) as particularly skilled combatants, their greatest weapon has always been fear. Kratos, Atreus, Geralt and Ciri all fought teleporting enemies. Unlike Talion, Kratos doesn't need Carnan to take down Tar Goroth.

Sauron is difficult to gauge. It took combine forces of Celebrimbor, Eltariel, The New Ring and the Light of Galadriel to stalemate him. The Ring and The Light are haxes that seems to be beyond the teams reach. They are pretty much like Sauron's kryptonite. I'm simply not sure if physical (Kratos) and martial (Geralt, Ciri) might is enough to take this bastard down for good.

Btw. would you mind to take a look and share your opinion on my own thread?

@reddsevil34: Yes, she/it have an obvious strength advantage but Ciri is too fast and agile with her tele-blitzes and Sigrun lacks durability feats to take her amped sword slashes. She's a healthy and hard boss but that's out of universe game mechanics that are hard to quantify.

@gaoron: Then again the Valkyries are supposed to be one of the most viciously fierce fighters in Asgard. And Sigrun is just as fast and agile as Ciri, not to mention that she can fly and can tank hits from Kratos

Kratos stops at O'Dimm but clears rest, Atreus doesn't add much and wouldn't be much of help against Man of Glass.

Geralt beats all the trolls and Valkyries but loses to Baldur, but with Ciri helping him they could pull some wins honestly.
