Aight, let's see. (Also sorry if this counts as a necro, this post was dead for years then got revived a few months ago so I'm assuming this is fine) Kratos, man's a god. He can resist the power of several other gods, including baldur, zeus, ares, and other. Man's no joke. He can tank volcanic explosions that level cities, other gods (as previously stated) which means the gear and pure strength of the man is enough to adapt to the power, and resist the power, of every god in Greek mythology. He can be a speedy boy, he has a fur coat that, besides the fact peta would storm his house and curb stomp him for, can make him not get boo boos if the fleece is the thing that gets hit. He has big strong sword boy and can absolutely yoink shit. Man's not a joke, he's incredibly powerful. I love the man and am not trying to biased here, I honestly swear to god, almost anyone else and I'd say Kratos wins, but... well... the Dovahkiin could basically kill anyone you could imagine. Kratos has the chance, it's not definite, but the chance to get vaporized by just the default shout the dovahkiin has, and if kratos isn't vaporized then he will get launched and absolutely stunned. There's also the "Marked for Death" shout that can basically turn any enemy the dovahkiin uses it on into a mushy banana, "Bend Will" can give the dovahkiin control over kratos, "Slow Time" will even the odds if kratos goes speedy or manipulate time himself, not to mention "Become Aetherial" which will make it so the two can not damage each other for a time, allowing the dovahkiin to heal himself with magic or a single potion, and potentially the most useful thing that doesn't really have any counter for the GoW stans, simply "Disarm" shout, there you go, blade of Olympus gone ez. As well as this there's the daedra artifacts, a knife that instantly kills any creature it touches the flesh of, a shield that blocks both magic and physical attacks, a staff that has a pretty good chance to vaporize an enemy (not to mention turn them into harmless or near harmless animals), armor that damages any enemy that gets near the dovahkiin. Lastly, something everyone, even the dovahkiin stans, forgot to mention, the dovahkiin has companions, more specifically unkillable companions. All this mans has to do is bring mjoll or serana to the fight with him, then go invisible a sec for kratos to lose track of him (since all his stats, including sneak, are maxed) and then all the dovahkiin has to do is sit behind a tree until mjoll or serana kills kratos.
