wrong lol , Kratos can lightning time in canon , Atreus caught him offguard in an attack after Baldur already sneak attacked him + seem like you forgot to mention the magical nature of the said arrow

Atreus's arrow this late in the game has zero anti feats in term of speed so...

FACT: Baldur uppercuts Kratos, the best he can do is send him flying a few dozen feet at the very best

Kratos absolutely stomps and his feats are not wank. He unironically solos the One Piece verse.

Over the years The God Of War Community has talked with 10s of GOW Game Developers, Writers, and voice actors confirming so much about the verse and where it stands powerwise. It's honestly commendable because he and Raiden from MK used to be the most lowballed video game powerhouses back in the day. Though to be fair I only remember them getting lowballed really bad on this website.

The devs and writers intended for there to be essentially no hyperbole in GOW.

Prime Whitebeard couldn't even knock out The World Serpent with 300 of his best attacks. Pun fully intended. Whitebeard might not even be able to 3 shot the Elephant in Wano right now. Let alone the World Serpent.

Even with the sheer offensive power of Whitebeard's Devilfruit. Kratos will barely even register his attacks.

@hey_thatsmildlyadequate: He's not faster. Kratos has all feats here. Which means he has Hermes Boots. Hermes was so fast he delivered literally every soul in the Underworld at once in GOW canon. We also saw him outrun literal light from Helios JUST before it came in contact with him.

Even without the boots though despite being this fast Hermes cannot blitz Kratos.

There is NO ability that Blackbeard has that Kratos hasn't seen before or even possessed himself. Blackbeard's Devilfruit is absurdly unimpressive compared to the hax in GOW. Whitebeard's Devilfruit is the only thing that would even make Kratos think he's strong "for a mortal"

@game_king597: He's not Sub Relativistic. Because of scaling to Hermes and various interactions with Helios his reactions are bare minimum FTL. With Hermes Boots he himself can fight at FTL speeds for sure. Likely faster speeds than Hermes himself because physically Hermes is a joke to Kratos.

@mee09: He is faster. Being able to fight someone like Ace and defeating a character like Marco offscreen are both above anything Kratos has shown without some uber wank. Gonna need a real good source on the Hermes underworld thing. Hermes is the messenger of the gods. He doesn't deliver souls. That's Charon's job. I've yet to see an actual clip where Hermes outruns the light, but that very likely is just a gameplay mechanic, similar to the ones that let Kratos get tagged by human Speed opponents

Teach's devil fruit as well as his Haki let him bypass Durability to a good extent and deliver an explosive punch right to Kratos insides.

I don't think you understand the Magnitude of the Helios feat. Helios Sun Light is MUUUCH faster than normal light. His light illuminated the entire Underworld in an instant. Hermes is canonically so fast that he can literally OUTRUN Helios light... AT POINT BLANK RANGE... ON REACTION.

No one in One Piece even has a fraction of that speed.

Even if Blackbeard had Ryou there is absolutely no way he could do any actual damage with his attacks. Kratos insides are far more durable than a Titans. And Hades struggled to damage to him with his claws that can directly target The Soul. Also Kratos unlike Blackbeard has a REALLY good healing factor. So even in the ironically mythological scenario where Blackbeard managed to inflict... ANY damage (lol). Kratos would easily regenerate it. And he could "fight" someone as weak as Blackbeard for literal years straight.

@eredin12: It was pretty insane. But I'm glad the GOW community stepped up and did what all debating communities should do. Instead of wanking and lowballing in small circles. Actually ask the writers who more often than not want to talk about their characters what's legit and what isn't.

The serpent already tanked hits that shook the earth and all 9 realms. And hits that splinter yggdrasil and sent him back in time. So a little above building level to hurt him.

I'd say Kratos can fight very early One Piece characters like Don Krieg and Arlong, he'll definitely lose to Crocodile because his damage soak and anything past that Kratos would get fodderized
