@dayoscript: It's always great when a guy saids a charecter is overrated and then proceeds to give no explanation as to why he stops early.

He might stop at Hela regardless, as shes probably superior to everyone here bar stormbreaker Thor and maybe Thanos.

@dayoscript: Not really? His piercing durability is pretty meh, but its still blatantly superhuman and he has a pretty solid healing factor and shield that can take hits from Magnis sword.

His blunt force and energy durability is still pretty up to par.

Could stop at Hela, depending on Cockiness. Stalemates 4. Other than that, he stops at 8. He could hold off Cronos's punches whom is much, MUCH larger than Surter. Physicals he has easily but he could stop at 7 depending on how bloodlusted Thor is, and if he goes for the head lol

@dayoscript: "His piercing durability isn't just a meh, it's a shame.He was pierced by an Atreus' arrow and Baldur pierced him with a random rock."

Atreus's arrows are basically a nuisance without their electricity effect, they pierce but dont go deep enough to actually do any serious damage, hence why in the e3 gameplay and after the stun effect wore off kratos just tore the arrow out and immediately ran after baldur. Atreus is also a blatant superhuman, so the overall force behind them is considerably more than most bullets.

Were talking about Baldur here, just do to his shere strength, were talking about thousands of pounds easily being thrusted onto a tipped point. If Kratos had such bad piercing resistance, the crystal should of blown his skin clean off, the ogre bite should of done more besides some superfical damage.

"His healing factor could save him of flesh wound but nothing more."

He's survive being gutted by the blade of olympus and the stone from baldur, both definetly hit internal organs, baldur also cracked his knee when he kicked it and yet he was up walking fine afterwards.

"Magni's sword is featless and didn't seem powerful enough to be impressive."

True, but Magni and Modi as toddlers flipped a giant, and Magni was seen casually ragdolling a Ogre, so his strength alone means that its considerebly impressive to take hits from a sword by him, even Sindri (one of the greatest smiths ever and who hates aesir) complimented Magnis strength and sword.

"Also the energy durability of Kratos is also crap.See how the arrow Atreus shot to Kratos paraliced him.The same with Modi's sword."

I was refering to his resistance to explosions and such.

"Kratos is strong, but not as strong as some of his high-end feats(some of them outliers) say.And also he is brave and quite skillful, but that's all."

He moved a bridge that weighs over a million tons, anyone on the mcu team have a feat like that?

Hela's blades are far more dangerous than Atreus' bows while having better feats. Hela can make them much larger and isn't limited by how much she's carrying.

On the other hand, most of those feats took place on asgard where she's more powerful.

Wonder if melee only means no weapons.

@sexybayonetta22: OP says "h2h & melee only". Melee combat is just close quarters combat which includes weapons.

Hela could give him trouble but it depends where the battle takes place. If ot happens on Asgard after Hela has been there for a while? Not sure Kratos can win...but if the battle doesn't take place on Asgard...Kratos is going to rip her arms off and shove them down her throat.

Stormbreaket Thor could probably kill Kratos and Thanos would easily kill Kratos if he has the gauntlet.

Kratos can slow down time, did you even play the new GOW? And Kratos dominated both his fights against Zeus, hence why Athena had to intervene in their first fight. Yeah you’re right about Atlas, Kratos only tied him up my bad. But Cronos still stands.

Realm rift is a gameplay move given with amulets and item enhancements and isn't a real time slow. It slows down enemies upon dodging and is only available for a specific amulet.

Canonically speaking, nothing says Kratos got all those items that allow him to realm shift (or didn't get them) so it's entirely dependent on if the op allows it to happen. SInce the op says nothing about that, you're better off sticking with the actual weapons Kratos always has with him: Leviathan Axe, Blade of Chaos, Guardian Shield.

@ready_4_madness: Skill? probably not. Fictional character skill is one of those things that are hard to quantify.

Speed? Probably not again. Kratos isn't faster than most of the characters on this list.

@dayoscript:

No. Kratos is definitly superhuman in speed and agility, just not as superhuman as many fictional characters and certainly isn't approaching something like sonic speeds.

He's certainly weaker to Electricity in current God of War than in previous god of war games. They cause him more pain now and he also has to enter spartan rage to counter act against it, and even that still takes a good amount of effort.

Anyone that doesn't believe so should compare God of War 3 Kratos when shot by Zeus lightning and electrocuted by Hephaestus to God of War Kratos against modi.

He isn't reeling in pain in the first video. He's strong enough to push through even though he's being electrocuted in the 2nd video, while the bottom video has him kneeling in pain, unable to stand when a similar current of electricity is shocking him only standing after getting angry enough but still taking more effort than his previous self. It's consistent with the fact that Kratos is older now and weaker. While he can still lift as much as before, he's certainly slower, less agile, and holds back his strength more.

@ready_4_madness:

Nah Skill is quantifiable because we’ve seen Kratos face all types of adversity. He has fought Dragnos, armies, sea creatures, trolls, valkyries, Gods, titans etc. Anything Hela has done, Kratos has also done and more.

Like I said, this isn't quantifiable. All you did was make a list of things he's fought, that isn't quanitfication especially given most of the people in this gauntlet has fought the same.

Nobody on the list has fought and stomped a teleporter, so I’m struggling to just agree with the statement of most people on this list are faster than Kratos. They may be able to travel faster but in combat it’s a different story.

Teleportation isn't a measure of speed, how did that make you think Kratos was faster just for fighting one character that can teleport? Loki can teleport too (You see this when he kills Coulson), does this mean everyone that has fought and/or beat him is now some uber speedy guy? No.
