Round 1 Korra by less then an inch. Korra has Katara beat with water bending and would likely counter her much easier then she did against Unalaq and she is far more proven against waterbenders...Toph is more of a challenge due to having a more head on fighting style that would leave little room for Korra to breathe. Still Korra nudges this out by virtue of airbending to create distance and having an easier time defending against them then they would against the multitude that she can put out.

Round 2. Too close to call. Arguably Toph and Korra could brawl it out until Katara decides to take an opening and that would realistically take her down. On the other hand everything that was a factor before is still a factor here. 5 out of 10 times they draw, 2 out of 10 times Korra wins and 3 out of 10 times Team takes.

Goin with Korra round 1 and team round 2, with Toph as the deciding factor. Since her senses can counter airbenders in her later years

@koays: korra does not have katara beat on waterbending...

@marvelfan1992: How does she not? Matches her with feats of power, and has more experience combating waterbenders.

Round 1: i give to katara and toph because Kataras waterbending is better than that of Korra and Same with tophs earthbending. There is a lot of earth and water around to give katara and toph the edge. Plus its at night so kataras waterbending will be stronger.

Round 2: i still give it to katara and toph because katara has an advantage with all the snow around. I know korra is good at waterbending but not as much as katara. Toph is going to have difficulty because the rock is covered in snow. But i feel like katara could just remove a large chunk of snow so toph can "see" and earthbend. So i give it to them.

What makes Katara's waterbending better than Korra's? Night helps Korra just as much as Katara, same for the South Pole.

@arcus: I feel like Korra's waterbending (without the AS) isn't that powerful, versatile and over all as good as Kataras. Katara's waterbending is very versatile and she learned to master the bending art within weeks. She's probably won of the strongest water benders in either series (if you don't include blood bending, even though she can blood bend). I just think that Katara has a better control over water rather than Korra. I know korra's waterbending is really good (she made multiple waterspouts) but it just doesn't seem as strong as Katara. And I know korra's waterbending gets stronger at night as well but if katara's waterbending is already stronger then it will still be stronger during the night so it really doesn't effect anyone that much.

@jrazor: Korra has arguably the greatest feat of raw power-flash freezing Kuvira's mech

@arcus: Im sure Katara could have done that. She has made giant waves that almost tipped over a giant fire naval ship (twice) [the awakening and the southern raiders]

Maybe she could have, but doesn't change that Korra had the bigger feat (Southern Raiders was also full moon enhanced, while Korra froze the mech in the middle of the day)

@arcus: okay but not in the awakening. And technically we don't know if Korra went into the avatar state when she did that. Her back was turned so you cant tell if she used the avatar state. Katara's waterbending is better than Korras. Korras technique is not as good as Katara's. If they were to battle in a waterbending battle (no AS) katara would most likely win.

They've always made it clear when she's using the AS-be it by showing her eyes glowing or playing the AS theme, usually both. Neither of those happened for her flash freezing the mech

@arcus: Honestly Environment was the biggest factor.

@arcus: Regardless (even tho there were times during the season 2 finale where Korra went AS but the theme did not play) Katara's waterbending is superior to korras water bending. The only thing Korra did was use a lot of water to freeze the mecha tank...yeah it was a lot of water (Katara could do that) but it doesn't make her all that lol. Shes the avatar she should be able to waterbend that much water

Raw power's always helpful. Korra might not be quite as versatile as Katara, but the gap's not incredibly large

I was kinda expecting Toph to be able to function pretty normally in the south pole, though I guess we don't really know how that would work

Really close, but I'll say Korra both rounds actually. Her water spiral will give Toph too much trouble and she has less morals than Team 2.

As much as i hate to say this but if Korea was to attack the team the way she attacked kuvira but at her healthy full power self she might win

I say team. I can't see korra taking on two benders of Katara/Toph caliber.
