Kingdom Come Superman vs Darkseid

Which Darkseid? Pre Crisis, Post Crisis or Final Crisis?

Kingdom Come Superman has some serious strength feats, I'm betting he can pound Darkseid's eyes shut as that tactic has worked for Supes before.  Not that he'd need to go for the eyes because Darkseid cant use omega effect per OP.

Yeah Supes would probably pull it off.

I'm just curious but are you trolling? Or do you honestly have no idea what you're talking about? Because Darkseid has beaten Superman on 5 or 6 occasions where Superman has beaten Darkseid at the most on 3 occassions. 1 of them with help and a power amp.

To be fair, he was totally depowered there, and yes, that was very silly to do to him. Anyway, as it's known and been stated and shown that regular Superman can and has more than occasionally overpowered DS, KC does it even better. In fact, Orion in KC already took out DS and was ruling in his place.

I'm not sure what you mean by occassionaly because in Post Crisis continuity DS has twice as many wins against Superman as he does losses.

First off, he's depowered in that mugging scan.

Second, that's from Super Powers. If you want to treat Super Powers as canon, then pkease, let me use SP Darkseid in debates from now on.

Third, Superman has Darkseid beat. Not all the time or as often as some people say, but KC Superman would trounce Darkseid.

That said, if I believed in dismissing PIS, I'd say Darkseid -should- curbstomp here.

I like both characters but in all fairness Darkseid is in fact stronger and more powerful than any regular superman but KC Supes can give him a fight but i see Darkseid winning.

He's beaten him twice. Once was with help. Supergirl was teleported out of harm's way, Wonder Woman deflected the Omega Beams back at Darkseid and then Superman took the fight to space where he was closer to the sun an BFR'd him into the Source Wall after breaking his arm.

Darkseid oneshotted him later in the Superman/Batman series with a punch to the Source Wall (it's confirmed in a later issue he was unconscious), had him incapacitated in Adventures of Superman 495, made him fall to his knees in New gods 10 volume 3 (he did resist though, but Darkseid needed him alive to fight Si'ivaa or however it's spelled), sent a charging Superman flying in Cosmic Odyssey, and fought him in Superman Confidential #10 until Drax stepped in. During OWAW he bloodied him with 3 punches, and then Superman hid behind the Aegis armor to avoid the Omega Effect (but in fairness, Batman and Superman bloodied him and he ran though).

Superman may have the advantage, but it's not like most people think.

He has matter manipulation, but I don't really recall any instance where he showed energy manipulation outside of the use of his omega beams.

Not sure if it still stands, but he fired energy from his hands before.

@LivingTribunal: Yes he does.. DS was actually projecting energy blasts out his hand in his fight with Orion during Countdown... And he takes this match also.

seriously kc supes took a full on punch from hercules with the golden fleece on without flinching and then he had been under sun exposure for more than 30 years i believe ........ darkseid is gonna get pounded and anyway darkseid had been killed ny orion in the kingdom come stroyline anyway.
