The rest of the Order of the White Lotus has gotten tired of Bumi's constant puns and rock candy, so they've decided to hunt him down and murder him. Will they succeed?

The order of the White Lotus consists of Iroh, Jeong Jeong, Pakku, and Piandao.

Both sides are bloodlusted.

Round 1 takes place in Omashu. Pakku has the same amount of water present in the Crystal Catacombs.

Round 2 takes place in the South Pole.

Bonus Round: Comet Jeong Jeong vs King Bumi in Omashu.

Win by KO, death, or incap.

Feat wise there is nothing stopping Bumi from steamrolling them the first two rounds.

Jeong Jeong's fire wall is a glass cannon that Zhao parted like curtains.

Pakku's water bending feats are not remotely up to par to challenge Bumi.

Iroh is all hype. Spent most of the series poorly training Zuko and getting into shenanigans only to get some last minute hype with no feats.

Though the bonus round definitely goes to the team.

@lunacyde: @rogueshadow:Any reasons?

Iroh solos.

Lol no he doesn't.

@mial42: Bumi isn't winning this and JJ wins the bonus due to his firejets.

Any reasons for Bumi losing? It's not like Bumi couldn't chuck a house at Jeong Jeong on his firejets.

@noobsnowman: By feats, Iroh's arguably the weakest member of the White Lotus except Piandao. Even counting his hype, none of his feats are anywhere near King Bumi's city level bending.

@mial42: Actually, by feats he is the strongest of the White Lotus. Bumi's only edge is power, but his best feats are due to his time to charge it up (ie. bringing down the huge statue). Iroh rivals him in power and is superior in terms of versatility.

@noobsnowman: Why don't you post some of Iroh's feats, and I'll post some of Bumi's. Iroh's feats don't even begin to compare, unless you wank the lightning feat to ridiculous levels.

No Caption Provided Underground travel.

No Caption Provided Shields no-selling comet blasts.

No Caption Provided Creating whatever this thing is which smacks around a serious Aang no problems.

No Caption Provided

City scale bending. This is King Bumi hurling houses as casual earth jabs, affecting an entire city. Also a nice earth jump feat, better than anything Iroh has in terms of mobility.

Couple things to note with this gif. First, the fact that he knows where all the guys behind him are without even looking. I'm not saying it's confirmation that Bumi has, say, a seismic sense like Toph, but it is interesting that he targeted all of them perfectly. Second, the range, accuracy, and power of his rock attack on the statue. That's a respectable distance, and he landed all the stones perfectly. Not only that, but he embedded them in solid metal. Not only does that show impressive power behind the attack, it would seem to indicate that earth under his control is more dense than metal. If it were less dense, the stone would have shattered upon impact. But instead the metal gave way, while the stone remained intact.

This is an amazing feat for multiple reasons. First, it shows excellent spacial awareness. He knows where all of the soldiers are without even looking, then hurls these massive earth pillars across the city showing excellent range (second reason). Third, he hits his target perfectly, showing amazing accuracy. Fourth, his rocks embed themselves in solid metal.

Iroh solos the guy who sends buildings flying with gestures, burries people, travels underground and propels himself around city distances?

Anyways, Round 1,I give it to the Lotus. They have good versatality, and Jeong Jeong alone has comparable raw power and scale with firebending.

Round 2 goes to the lotue decisevely.

Jeong Jeong stomps the bonus. Much more raw power and great use of jet propulsion.

Iroh has no raw power feats to compare to the guy who casually bends entire buildings. He's good but not the strongest

@mial42@arcus1:

His ability to rival Ozai is sufficient to show that he is comparable in power. I never said that his raw power is greater, lol. His edge here is versatility.

Looks like ANTH2000 is back with his trolling to spite the person who accepted his concession in debate after debate. Like even after months of my absence? Trolls are persistent.

@noobsnowman: What unamped feats does Ozai have to put him in the same tier of raw power as King Bumi?

What versatility has Iroh shown? Last time I checked, King Bumi's got underground techniques, earth pillars, earth jumps, chucking houses, burial, and dirt constructs (like the tongue thing he used on Aang).

King Bumi's got Iroh beat in everything except physicals/H2H.

Even then, by feats, he doesn't have anything to say he's superior to Bumi. I could say the same for Ozai

@arcus1@mial42: because unlike Bumi, there wasn't an instance that he needed to reveal the extent of his powers. Iroh is a person who shows a lot of restraint.

Ozai is stated to be superior to Aang and Toph by the Day of the Black Sun (so before Aang learns firebending), that's why the team abandoned their mission when Ozai regained his firebending powers.

They left because they knew Ozai would be ready for them, thus putting them at a disadvantage. Even then, King Bumi could arguably be a match for an in character Aang and Toph (granted, Toph and Aang are better suited to counter earthbending than they would have been at that time to counter firebending)

The creators have also said that Ozai is the most powerful firebender in ATLA

@noobsnowman: He shows restraint, sure, but he still lacks the feats to say he has anything on Bumi bending wise.

The left because they knew Ozai (and whatever troops down there) would be armed and ready for them. The also didn't know the full extent of Ozai's capabilities.

@mial42: @arcus1: Ozai being ready for Aang and Toph dosen't give him an advantage over the duo whatsoever. King Bumi, in my opinion, is roughly Toph's equal - or you can argue him to be superior if you place a lot of stock on his city level bending. The fact that Iroh shows restraint is the very reason why he didn't produce any Bumi level feats, except during Sozin's Comet. So it's absence of evidence, rather than evidence of absence.

Also, in the Fire Lord's bunker, there were hardly any troops there, so the numbers show that they are fodder to Aang and Toph. If anything, Ozai was so powerful that Aang at that time (not at his prime), even with Toph's aid, was incapable of facing him in an open battle. Even Azula was confident that her father would beat the duo, thus revealing his location without the hesitation once Ozai regained his firebending abilities after the Sun rose. It was the very reason why Aang chose to conduct the Black Sun invasion in the first place, to face him while Ozai couldn't bend.

@noobsnowman: Yeah it does, it means he's got troops and firebending. They also needed to escape before the army cut off their lines of retreat. I consider King Bumi a couple of tiers higher than Toph, although they're a lot closer against earthbenders. You can't prove Iroh's King Bumi level without feats.

I don't believe that's true at all. Based on feats, Aang and Toph should've beat him easily. He's got a serious reputation, so that's why they were afraid to fight him. Azula said that because she knew they wouldn't actually do it; the whole point of the invasion was to beat him while he was powerless. By feats, Ozai's also a good bit better than Iroh based on powerscaling from the Comet.

Didn't you say on Reddit you wouldn't respond to my posts, let alone with this "argument"? You know you can just ignore them if it bothers you.

the statue may have been gilded with something less dense underneath, but I wholeheartedly agree with you on all points Bumi has the best feats of all non-amped non-avatar benders imo.
