Killer Frost's energy absorb should nullify his range attacks. And its hard to throw a punch if you frozen in a block of ice. I give this one to Frost.

She has heat absorb, not energy absorb -- exactly what type of energy does the trident shoot? if it is lightning or just light it may be able to effect her which makes this closer.

Both versions have shown the ability to absorb heat from external sources and transmute it into waves of cold. Energy absorption is used for any kind of energy -- most of CV's wiki powers are vague that way. For example, Red Lanterns have "Emotion Control" despite only being able to control and harness rage.

She could still block his attacks, and if his trident was covered in ice, couldn't she just yank it away?

Not sure if that would work or not. Don't think she's... erm... cryokinetic, or anything like that. But she could certainly encase it, and him, in ice. He'd have to be fast because she is ruthless.

At any rate, its hard to think when your freezing to death. Why can't she make a cold cloud like Cap Cold? Hm?

She could. Or drain the heat directly from his body. *shrug* As I said he has to be fast, and hopefully durable enough to survive for a short time, enough to get a hit in.

This is a slaughterhouse for sure. Blue Devil can go toe-to-toe with Eclipso and one-shot a power-drunk Enchantress. lol
