Fight takes place in the Sewer, where Beast went to investigate things only to be attacked by Killer Croc, starting the fight. Who wins.

Powers: Superhuman Strength, speed, agility, reflexes, stamina, durability, and senses. Expert swimmer, Hardened scale-like skin, Razor-sharp claws and teeth, Regenerative Healing Factor, and Experienced alligator wrestler.

vs.

Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, flexibility, reflexes, coordination, balance, endurance, Genius level intelligence, Accelerated healing factor, Pheromone manipulation, razor sharp claws and teeth.

How can Croc possibly compete with Beast? Hank is stronger, faster, more agile and a hell of a lot smarter. Croc couldn't even handle Mr. Zsasz.

Well Killer Croc is a expert swimmer and if he is in the water. Beast might not know where he is and will strike. Once that. Croc might burst out and bring him underwater to try and drown Beast. So I give a 50/50 to both actually. If there fighting in water. Killer Croc wins. But if land. Beast might win.

I remember him and Logan fighting at the beginning of Astonishing, and he barely did anything to Wolvie.

Didn't he almost put Logan through the ceiling with a kick? Regardless, it was a short fight and they were both holding back quite a bit.

It's been a while since I read it, but I believe he knocked him into the ceiling (dunno bout through). They were taking shots at eachother and simultaneously did a jump attack at eachother. I think Logan might have got put through the wall. But 5 tons would be sufficient for that . Of course, I haven't been reading Astonishing much at all after that first story arc so maybe he did do something in the 30 tons range.

Beast is at least that strong. In Phoenix saga he actually lifted an oak tree that had been transmuted in to gold off Piotr. That should actually have weighed hundreds of tons, though I doubt the writers were thinking about that and Hank's not intended to be that strong. But even in the water Beast is so exponentially stronger he could just swim to shore and walk out and Croc could't even slow him down. Not to mention Hank is one of the smartest people in Marvel's universe with an IQ at least on par with Batman. I personally think he's a quite a bit smarter since his already high-genius level intellect increased with his mutation.

The Lizard tried that against Beast (X-Men: First Class), and even then Hank put up a decent struggle before Angel pulled him out. Since then he has gotten stronger, faster, smarter, and more experienced. Croc stands no chance here.

Beast is an accomplished scientist...And Batman's IQ is at about 190. It is hard to determine, but I generally agree that Batman should be ranked higher in intelligence than Hank.

I don't think the jump between them is a big as you think. They specialize in completely different fields, but both are regarded as one of the smartest in their respective universes.

I may just be out of the loop since it's been a few years since I read Batman regularly, but isn't Bruce about the fifth smartes person in DC behind the two Atoms, Mr. Terrific, and Lex Luthor? Hank is about the fifth smartest in Marvel and to me Marvel's geniuses seem to be above DCs in general. I'd rank Ray Palmer about on par with Hank Pym. Beast is personally responsible for some of the greatest breakthroughs and advancments in particle physics, medicine, and genetics in Marvel's universe. Not to mention his wide range of inventions, including a few that he made when he was only a child. Bruce never demonstrated anything close to that when I was reading him. Granted he's an extraordinary criminal profiler and detective, and his leadership and tactical skills are on par with Captain America, but I don't recall any really stand out super-genius moments. I certainly don't see how you can say they're equal in science. Genius is ultimatly all about problem solving which is why I can say with a fair degree of confidence that Bruce is a genius, but Hank has more genius level feats in a year than most people who are considered geniuses in their fields have in a lifetime. And there's a reason for that. It's part of his mutation to be far more intelligent than most humans can ever hope to be. Meanwhile Bruce is still a baseline human with human-level (though very high) intellect. Anyway after that diatribe, what I'm really getting to is this...does Bruce Wayne have any intellectual feats on par with creating anti-nanotechnology, or curing the Legacy virus, or figuring out and reverse engineering multiple alien technologies?

^ This sounds as accurate an analysis as I could think of. But Beast won't just win. He'll beat the hell out of Croc in the process. That is, if he doesn't KO him in the first punch. Or if Croc doesn't KO himself with a rock or something first.

Beast wont be getting dragged anywhere . He can lift about 25 tons. If Croc does try and pull Hank into the water he will be in for a nasty surprise when he kicks him through a wall. I dont think his skin will be a factor here.
