Kakashi at this point could spam kamui like it was nothing mid combat and utilize the teleportation part of kamui. He wins with mid difficulty.
He can warp away before kakuzus big attacks land, warp hidans body to pieces before he understands whats going on, and warp kakuzus head off as hes not fast enough to dodge kamui
Kakashi. Wouldn't even need Kamui.
Kakuzu had Kakashi w/ Prep & Backup defeated, with Kakashi's only possible chance being an offensive Kamui. Without Kamui, Kakashi looses here exactly the same way he did in cannon; masked beasts overwhelm him and he gets his heart ripped out.
Kakashi had to defend those garbage rookies at the cost of putting himself at the line of attack, wasting two Raikiris, hurting his palms, blocking elemental mix to protect Ino and Choji, as the result getting pierced by the threads and knocked to the ground.
If not for them, he couldn've used hit'n'run (kill'n'run here) tactics via Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu, with which he feinted Itachi and Pein, avoiding any attack Kakuzu could throw at him and destroy his heart one after one almost unpunished.
When IA Kakashi got caught by Kakuzu, WA Kakashi could use his Raiton: Raiju Tsuiga in his place to wreck Kakuzu.
@alextheboss: Not really. Pein, a Rinnegan wielder, reacted to Kakashi the last moment and deflected Kakashi's lounge from underground when the distance between kunai and his torso was less 2 inches. Make Kakashi attack Kakuzu/his hearts the same way and add Raikiri to elongate his Kunai or make him shoot sneak Raiju Tsuiga attack from underground and his victim is owned. Then see him taking out another mask and burrowing underground as fast as he did against Itachi and Sasuke.
Nibi seemingly didn't use TBB on Immortals Duo. Under the same circumstances Kakashi slices her with Raiden.
Not only did Kakashi lose to them prior to the pain arc, but Kakashi hasn't really grown since then.
The only reason he does so well for majority of the war arc was because he had a superior team of shinobi with him and he didn't have to care for anyone.
After that, The only times Kakashi did anything insane with his Kamui was after Naruto replenished his health and boosted his Chakra. Which he doesn't have in this situation.
Obito, who was physically inferior to Kakuzu by feats, was evenly matched with Kakashi.
People tend to forget how many buffs Kakashi got during the War Arc. He wouldn't have enough chakra on his own to perform as well as he did then. People also forget that the Zombie Combo emerged victorious and nearly unscathed from a fight with a jinchūriki.
I'd put my money on the team, although Kakashi will be a pain in the ass to deal with for sure.
@echostarlord117: We never saw that jinchuuriki fight, but we did know she was dumb enough to challenge two Akatsuki members alone. Hidan is arguably the weakest member of the team while Kakuzu is one of the stronger ones. Kakashi was still a decent fight for Kakuzu when they first met. At war arc he should be able to win fairly easily.
War Arc Kakashi was far more skilled with Kamui than his Pre-Kage Summit version. He used it several times, without losing great quantity of energy...also Kakashi was far faster than his Pre-Kage Summit ver. he warped away a Gedo Mazo giant arm in an instant.
War Arc Kakashi should win 10/10 if he spam Kamui.
I usually argue for Hidan more than most. But against Kakashi during the War Arc. He has absolutely no chance. The only reason he didn't use Kamui during their first fight is because he needed the Chakra for Kakuzu. War Arc Kakashi has enough Chakra to Kamui Hidan right off the bat with no backlash.
Kakuzu will put up a decent fight because he has the tools to combat Kamui or at least stall.
