R1: S4 mid diff at best, too much for kakashi to handle, Jirobo is a taijutsu specialist and vastly superior to kakashi in H2h, Tayuya is a genjutsu specialist who uses Sound, there is also a Range S4, kakashi gets murderd.

R2: Kakashi

Kakashi both rounds, these kids aren't ready.

R1: kakashi wrecks

R2: kakashi baby shakes

R1: Kakashi works for it to a certain degree

R2: Kakashi stomps

Kakashi kills them with ease. They aren't high Jounin level.

Round 1: without kimimaro the sound 4 can't take kakashi. He should be able to take a couple down before they go curse mark 2 and by then it'll be too late.

Round 2: War arc Kakashi was a beast and baby shakes even with kimimaro added

R1 Kakashi wins easy if he fights everyone 1v1 after another and with work in a 1v4 situation

R2 He defeats them and Kimimaro extremly easy, with one hand tied behind his back

There's a reason Kishi had Kakashi out on a mission during Sasuke Recovery Arc.

Kakashi

Kakashi wins in both scenarios.

Jirobo lost to Choji after going into CS 2 when Choji used his pill to defeat him.

Tayuya lost to Temari who saved Shikarmau who she also struggled against after going into CS 2

Sakkon and Yakkon both got killed by Kankerou after saving Kiba who they also.

Despite the fact that Kidomaru almost killed Neji he still lost at the end of day and this was after going into CS 2.

Even if they all teamed up Kakashi is way smarter than all of them.

Since we're also talking about War Arc as well the Kamui takes them out as well.

Kakashi can totally lose the first round

People like to use them losing to Choji/Temari/Kankuro/Neji to say they're weak, but disregard the fact that they're at their strongest when fighting as a team.

Kakashi takes round 1 mid difficulty. Its definitely not a stomp in his favor. The sound 4 are no joke especially when working together. Their teamwork would work great against a lot of other people. It's just that kakashi is a really bad matchup for them. He is the kind of guy who plans ten steps ahead of his enemies and finesses them without them realizing what's going on. The sound 4 would try a head on assault while kakashi evades and studies their patterns while simultaneously planning how to beat them.

Kakashi takes both rounds although round 1 should be very difficult but not impossible considering his versatility of various jutsu, and the fact that all of the sound 4 were beaten by Chunin to mid Jounin level ninja kids. And Kakashi is a Elite jounin Tier by end of part 1, and has the techniques and power to back it up.

Round 2 Kakashi stomps. Keeping up with cloaked chakra jinchuriki and Rinnegan nerfed Obito in his Kamui pocket dimension.

Kakashi wins both rounds, first scenario mid-diff and second he wins with some troubles. Round 1 would be a serious threat for Kakashi If Kimimaro were in the vs but the four can't win by their own. They already had a chance to fight Kakashi before attack Sasuke but they waited until he leave because they were not sure If they have a chance of winning. Sakon made a comment wondering If they could take him but at the end none take the risk.

Later, the Sound 4 fought against Raidō and Genma (two regular Jōnin far below Pre-Shippuden Kakashi in combat skill and this is also supported by the databook) and they admitted that they almost died and hardly win against the two because they used their Level 2 form. Besides, the two of them were tired after having a long mission for days outside Konoha. So, If the four together in their peak can barely survived a fight against two exhausted enemies, who are also weaker than Kakashi even with full energy, I don't know how they could stand a chance against him.

Genma and Raidō even stated that they would have defeated the four if it weren't for their lack of chakra.

Tayuya genjutsu is not a problem here, Shikamaru was able to release hymself by causing pain to his body, he used his shadow jutsu because Tayuya was holding him but Kakashi can perfectly break it just like Kurenai did with Itachi genjutsu, and that's just If he falls down in it, he can use his sharingan to create a counter-genjutsu as well by look her or kill her before she even has the chance to do it.

Despite being extremely weakened, it is clarified that Kimimaro could kill Tayuya almost instantaneously and she despite knowing he is weak still terrified of him. With this I will assume that the 4 were afraid of Kimimaro. According to the Kimirmaro databook, without being ill, his physical abilities would be very similar to the level of Kakashi pre Shippuden (in Shippuden Kakashi is already more skilled), and Kimimaro being incredibly weak could have killed one of the 4 without problems. Kakashi is in another level, the four has no chance.

I feel like round 1 goes to the sound with high difficulties. Everyone, literally everyone, knows about kakashi. They're going C2 straight away and they're gonna go hard. I think had they not died they'd have been Akatski members, or at the very least a replacement team like Sasuke and his gang were.

Round 2 is kakashi.

@hypnos0929: No way. Kakashi practically fought Hidan and Kakuzu by himself until Shikamaru and Naruto showed up. The Immortal Duo could not come close to killing him in the amount of time it took Naruto and Shikamaru to show up. The Sound 4 have no chance of defeating Kakashi. If Genbu and Raido were not tired they would have been too much for The Sound 4. Kakashi is an entirely different tier of Jonin than they are. He definitely wins round 1 with mid difficulty.

In Round 2 Kimmimaro is being underestimated though. Kakashi still wins the round but a healthy Kimmimaro is an S Class Ninja. Kakashi would only be able to defeat him with Kamui or a very well timed Lightning Blade. These are his go to techniques but Kimmaro is a very fast and skilled opponent who won't try to tank something that can destroy his bones. The Sound 4's only chance in that round is if they can make Kakashi vulnerable enough for Kimmimaro to finish him.

@mee09: Any feats in Shippuden shouldn't be counted in round 1 because we don't know what progress he made during the time skip

I doubt it, none of the 4 have done tactics in battle before and they are very temperamental. Besides, Shikamaru, the rest of the team was able to trick them several times. And we are talking about Kakashi, who has a level of intelligence similar to Shikamaru and a much greater experience, if we talk about strategies he is the one who has the full advantage in that scenario, and he is already much more skilled than the four in combat. Knowing about Kakashi is not a great advantage, there is much talk about him and the most detailed thing they know about his abilities is that he knows more than 1,000 jutsus and that he is a elite shinobi. Even Zabusa who had read about him knew nothing about the Raikiri.

Kakashi stomps easily.

They actually had great strategies with very little will to complete them. Heck they almost got killed by literally everyone and just kept saying "The rest of you go ahead". Then after they got alone everyone got beaten pretty badly until the Calvary showed up.

Also we're talking about Orochimaru's suicide squad. I'm sure he's informed them about Kakashi.

Side Note: I legit think Orochimaru's curse marks were changed after his Itachi encounter. They were all well designed to counteract Itachi's abilities. The flute chick could act as a Genjutsu user, only you can't really wake yourself up. The rock dude could create a trap. The 2 body guy is, at least in theory a good taijutsu fighter. And the arrow dude had a perfect means of sniping Itachi. Kimimaru was always meant to be a host, which would've given Orochimaru a great Keki-Genki which hard counters taijutsu (Itachi's most efficient skill behind Genjutsu), amateratsu (since he can do break away bones to lose the fire) and Kimimaru's body could handle serious damage.

Though I still think that sealing blade would've caught Orochimaru's whole team off guard.

On topic:

Kakashi was more skilled than everyone individually but as you should know a team can be difficult to deal with. They had range, durability, and unique abilities which sharingan can't really copy (at least in theory it can't copy them because most required large, physical shifts too their bodies). I said high difficulty because I'm sure kakashi could pull wins.

As much as i love the sound 4 kakashi murders them, it would be a tad different if it was sound 5, if it was that id go wit sound for Round 1 and mid high diff Round 2 in favor of sound 5.
