Sasori gets two new puppets. Sasori is likely immune to genjutsu in his puppet body, naruto is much weaker physically here than Sakura so he's a handicap since Sasori excels in wide attacks that will murder his clones. His only bet would be his shadow shuriken technique, if he did that and pulled off a rasengan at the end he could probably break Hiruko just like Sakura did, but thats the best for him here, and I find it unlikely Sasori would fall for it. Naruto is the kind of person who tends to take a lot of damage in battle, and one hit from Sasori means death.
Kakashi is strong, but he can't make up the difference, and has no knowledge of poisons. He also hasn't seen these puppetry abilities before and wont be able to amp Naruto with Puppetry. Kamui might work if he can hit Sasoris weak spot assuming Hiruko is gone but it will leave him exhausted if he misses. Additionally, Kakashi is less suited to taking on a hundred poisoned puppets than Granny was. Kakashi tends to fight up close in personal, with copy techniques, or tools. Both tools and copying aren't viable against Sasori.
I wont say this is a mismatch but it's definitely weighted against the team.
He defeated the 3rd kazekage who was the strongest ninja in suna history. Also he defeated an entire country with his 100 puppets. Deidara admitted Sasori was the stronger of the two.
Sasori casually defeated Kankuro (who was jounin at the beginning of Part 2) with only his tail weapon while still in hiruko.
Remember that it took another Puppet Master to beat Sasori. And a significant advantage considering Chiyo knew many of his tricks, trickery is essential to a puppeteer specialist. Sakura had also prepped by creating antidotes for his poisons, otherwise they would've died. Also, Sasori would've won had he not let himself be killed towards the end, since it was his parents 'embracing' him that he wanted all his life.
Kakashi near solos. Its just not a good matchup when he can both see and cut his strings. Only the Iron sand can stop Raikiri but even then a big ball rasengan blatantly overpowers.
Sakura and Chiyo only won because Chiyo knew basically everything about Sasori and because Sakura brought the antidote she made for his poison. Even then he still lost on purpose in the end. He wins pretty easily here.
Naruto has shadow clones to fight against the 100 puppets. Even if they are weak more than likely it would be 2 clones to 1 puppet. Naruto has his way of getting around not to mention ninetails mode. Kakashi has MS and can avoid attacks and do some distance to close range damage. Overall team should take the win 7/10.
Realisticly there's no answer for the poison Sasori has. It's feasible for Naruto to make like a thousand clones and win but thats not something he does all the time. It would be a logical response to the 100 puppet tho so I like naruto and kakashi 7/10.
I don’t see how Naruto & Kakashi can possibly lose when Chiyo and Sakura won that fight.
I mean chiyo is no joke. She is a S class shinobi level but I wouldn’t compare her to someone of Kakashis tier. He was already low kage tier at this point. Add Naruto who will likely use 3 tails kyuubi cloak when pissed.
Sasori gets stomped, unless he activates his 100 puppets from the get go. He would still lose but it would be a tougher fight
@originalcaptain: edited "no kurama" besides, kakashi needed time to amass his chakra and use kamui at this period, i feel, they all stop at iron sand, and sasori's puppets were faster than naruto at this level.
Even without Kurama the team would overwhelm him. Kamui or no kamui. Im confident that Kakashi & Naruto can replicate anything chiyo and Sakura accomplished. And I disagree with Sasori puppets being faster than Naruto.

And i don't see how they can defeat sasori if they have no antidote or prior knowledge of his physiology.

Puppets not 1000 lmao. Don’t ask me about speed feats of Naruto when you don’t have any of Sasori or chiyo yourself. At least Naruto can create 1000 shadow clones which he can use to deceive Sasori. And it was said that Kakashi reacted to lighting. Sasori has like 0 impressive speed feats. Kakashi can also attack from beneath with earth style jutsu. Sasori might one shot if he tags them, because of poison, but he is not surviving a chidori or rasengan to the heart either.

I'm sorry but that seems a bit much. Naruto has rarely had a fight where he doesn't get hit, and Sasori is far more experience than him and Kakashi combined. They dont have the antidote, They have far less knowledge on Sasori than Granny did. Kakashi can only use Kamui once or twice a battle at most at this point and it weakens him considerably. And neither of them are fast enough to blitz Sasori if they start at the same distance Sakura and Chiyo did.
Also, from a different post but We've never seen Kakashi cut chakra strings and we know for a fact that they can be reconnected instantly.
Additionally most of the surprise attacks that led to Sasori dying cannot be accomplished by Kakashi or Naruto. Neither of them uses chakra strings which were necessary to stop hiruko from killing Sakura and to destroy the Kazekage puppet, and Naruto has to charge up a rasengan to have the same effect as a punch from Sakura.
Lastly, AOE attacks are basically the best answer to Shadow clones, and most of Sasoris attacks cover huge areas.
I could see someone arguing a win for K+N (I honestly think they lose) but "in your wildest dreams" just doesn't make sense for this fight.

Sasori is definitely not tagging Naruto with the Hiruko puppet. He hasn't tagged anyone as fast as him. And yes naruto got tagged plently of times, but this is not a 1 vs 1 scenario. There is still Kakashi who is superior to Naruto at this point in the story, which will attack him simultaneously. And Naruto can create 2k clones just like he did against Gaara in part 1.

How is he more expericed than Kakashi ? Let alone more experienced than Kakashi & Naruto combined ? Which characters other than the 3rd kazekage has he fought that you know of ?

People keep brining that up, but I don't see how it matters. One chidori or rasengan is just as effective. How does Sasori counter Naruto gang banging him with clones, while Kakashi is looking for an opening like this for example

Why can't they blitz him ? And using Kamui once is more than enough to finish the fight. He caught Deidara mid flight, I don't see how Sasori is supposed to counter kamui. He is not impressive physically so I highly doubt he can avoid it.

They don't have to use the same strategy as Chiyo and Sakura. Kakashi & Naruto have much better way of finishing the fights with superior Nin & Tai jutsu. Kakashi is also much smarter and cunning than Chiyo & Sakura combined.

He won't be able to use his AOE sand attacks in his Hiruko puppet. Even if he somehow managed to get to the point where he summons the 3rd kazekage I still don't see the iron sand tagging either kakashi or Naruto. He struggled with Sakura. Kakashi already stated that she is too slow when they sparred.

I don't see how Sasori wins with this setting at all. I could see him pulling something off with special conditions, but not like this.
Kakashi seems too fast. Considering how Sakura and Chiyo could waver through the attacks shows that the likes of Kakashi and potentially Naruto can as well.
Naruto xan also clone spam in response to the puppets and His Rasenshuriken should potentially kill Sasori and all nearby puppets.
