I'm probably asking for it by doing this, but I would like to push back on the idea that Dr. Manhattan is featless in the original story. He does have feats. Nothing remotely close to what he does in Convergence, but still feats:

• Disintegrate normal humans
• Single-handedly won the Vietnam War for the USA (a war we lost in real life despite among other things resorting to an absolutely obscene amount of bombs dropped and numerous amounts of herbicides and inflammatory weapons to clear out jungle)
• Casually teleported an entire crowd of protestors back to their homes, showing he can not only teleport humans, but send them all to different destinations.
• Transmutation powers (though I don't believe he ever uses these in combat)
• Reformed after Ozymandias disintegrated him, meaning that disintegration doesn't kill him (unless it came from a sufficiently powerful source like GE Doom obviously)
• Kept the Cold War from turning into World War III for an extended period by using his powers to eliminate nukes before they reached the US, or else having the ability to do so.

Now, some of these might be misremembered on my part, or possibly only apply to the Movie version in the case of the last one. But if so, I welcome clarification. Just don't take my head off.
