This is purely a physical contest. Both are among the greatest tanks in the marvel universe. Juggernaut is the very height of invulnerability and Thanos has tanked so much energy from a well nourished Galactus that Galactus needed to feed again.

Thanos has no AOE attacks for this fight. No matter manipulation. No TP ability or energy projection or magic. (BUT GETS TO KEEP HIS SHIELDS)

Juggernaut has all of his standard power set.

Hulk is World War Power level.

Random encounter. Win by KNOCK-OUT or DEATH. Morals off.(THIS IS A FIST FIGHT ONLY).

WHO WINS IN THIS CONTEST OF TANKING FISTI-CUFFS ?!?!?!

BATTLE TAKES PLACE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stalemate. Juggernaut, while for all intents and purposes is invulnerable, is also not strong enough to permanently injure Thanos.

@jagernutt: Juggernaut has the invunerability, Thanos has the duarability, and the slight 'very' better strength.

This could fight could go on for ever, unless Thanos can KO him; vise versa.

Deciding who gets the KO, is purely opinion; nothing someone can show one getting KO'd rather than the other.

Stalemate

This is not a stalemate. One can be physically harmed, one can not. Eventually the Mad Titan goes down assuming this is Classic Juggy. 8th Day or Trion are overkill.

Juggs has been physically harmed a few times. Onslaught KO'ed him. War Hulk had him on his back unable to fight back. Captain Universe KO'ed him. And i'm not sure Juggs has shown the strength to get past Thanos shields.

@pooty: none of those are Classic, 8th Day or Trion. Classic Juggernaut could literally only be defeated by bfr or PIS. Even resisted telepathy with his enchantment back in classic days. Between that at his insane forcefield, I'd call physically harming him an instance of PIS. Granted Juggernaut was depowered and made into a jobber.

@pooty: thanks for the scans. i think i agree with you there.

this is kinda like the fights between the chicken and Peter Griffin. fun to watch, and i'm usually rooting for the chicken (in this case Thanos), but basically a stalemate. having the shields is still gonna tip the favor toward Thanos though.

How far back is Classic? some of those scans are decades old

@pooty: probably pre-80s, before 1975. Classic Strange couldn't harm Cain and even used him as a weapon against more powerful enemies.

Juggernaut can and has been hurt by physical force before. Thanos ends him IMO.

Juggernaut(normal non-amped versions) does not have the strength to even get through Thanos shields. He isn't doing anything to Thanos.

At best I'd call it a stalemate, at worst Thanos rips his helmet off and KO's him.

LOL i've never seen anyone call Hulk a glass canon, that literally couldn't be farther from the truth, especially Green Scar considering all the damage he took and still kept going.

@jagernutt:

Thanos vs Juggernaut-

  • Thanos's physiology is made from eternals which could withstand even Thor's lightning as well as hammer due to his durabiltity wheares Juggernaut 's forcefield had also power the to withstand Thor's hammer ....but here comes the contradiction could Juggernaut withstand thrice as much as thanos when he was beaten by thor? ....no because after Juggernaut's force field withstanding thor's blow Juggernaut's become vulnerable whereas thanos's become powerful enough to obliterate thor........ therefore thanos win............
