Joker Vs Wolverine

My friend and I had a debate over who would win in a fight the Joker or Wolverine. And wanted to know what others thought.

Joker:

Advantages:

-smart

-insane

-crazy weapons (giant hammer, Joker Venom aka Smilex, guns, explosives, ext.)

-will cheat

-doesn’t care if he dies or kills others around him

-agile

Disadvantages:

-Human

Wolverine:

-claws

-mutant

-heals

Disadvantages:

-Joker could use some kind of giant magnate

Well yeah I took the Joker's side because I wanted to prove he's a better character and my friend Steve disagreed saying if he can't beat Wolverine he's not a better character. My big brother was on my side about Joker being a better character, but he didn't think Joker could beat Wolverine. He think Batman could, but not Mr. J.

Prep time is so lame.

Without prep time, Joker couldn't pull it off.

I guess Steve believes in Might Makes Right. Of course you can be a better character without being able to win a fight against the other character.

If youre trying to argue that he beats Wolverine thought, you would certainly have to argue prep time and look into some of the more elaborate traps that he's set. Even with that, Wolverine's enhanced senses may help him spot the trap before it's sprung. He can smell Joker's sent on everything that Joker touched, so he might spot a trap early.

That's why it's called prep time. You get to set things up for your benefit. Then Joker could use magnets to immobilize Wolverine and then drop him in a vat of acid. If the acid was active enough, Wolverine could die from that.

Prep time can certainly be lame and it tends to tip the scales to one side or another. Though in an already onesided battle like this one, it would be necessary to even give Joker a chance.

But acid could kill Wolverine if it was active enough. If it worked quickly enough to strip the muscle from his body, or he was still held immobile in a magnetic field so that it would have the time it needed, then all of his DNA could be stripped from his skeleton.

Give Joker a month of prep time, he might have a chance. Otherwise Logan guts him.

You have to keep Wolverine immobile in the acid, or it has to be fast acting enough that it is almost instantly stripping his body away. It would work better if he were immersed in it.

And if youre allowing prep time to bring someone else in, then it really gets pointless. Anyone who has prep time can then find someone else smart enough to win the fight for them.

DC is much more cheap than Marvel though. Their people are severely overpowered. But Wolverine wins. He would sense some sort of trap with his animal instincts. And whats this prep time? How does this work? Joker goes up to Wolverine... "In one month, me and you are going to fight." that makes no sense.

Personal I think Joker would win because of his brains and schemes.
