@cognitive: You may want to rewatch it, then. As John leaves the mirrored room, we see her head hunched forward in a dead position.

@king_majestros: Ya what’s funny is someone actually used that argument in favour of Wick before, not as the sole reason admittedly but a ‘main’ point: that Wick beats a certain character because they have a shared actor between universes who they both scale from but Wick’s one had better ‘hype’

She died.

The entire scene is contrasted with Wick's previous fight against Cassian. He stabs him in the same spot he stabs her (the aorta), but tells him to keep the knife in the wound in order to avoid bleeding out; both as a professional courtesy and because Wick acknowledges Cassian's grievance is legitimate. He has no respect or empathy towards Ares, and as such, no compunction about pulling the knife to ensure she will die.
