John Diggle vs Black Widow (Live-Action Battle)

The Spec Ops soldier and Suicide Squad member vs the SHIELD agent and Avenger. Who comes out on top in this test of marksmanship, quick thinking, martial arts, and determination?

The Rules:

• All live-action MCU material for Black Widow, and any other appearances (comics, games) so long as they are canon.
• All live-action Arrowverse material for Diggle, and any other appearances (comics) so long as they are canon.

• Knowledge
• The two are sent on a mission to assassinate the other in an office skyscraper, Diggle infiltrates from ground-level while Widow is airdropped on the roof.

This is very close. Both Diggle and Natasha has some impressive shooting feats. In a shootout, Natasha might take a slim majority because of her tendency to do acrobatic moves. It'll make it much harder for Diggle to shoot her.

In close h2h battle, I'll give Diggle a decent majority. He hits much harder and has better feats against notable fighters.

I'm not sure really. To be honest I feel like we've hardly ever seen Diggle at his full potential. Though he did have that fight with Brick, and lasted longer than Ted Grant. Plus he did give China White a good fight once before Oliver trained him a little.

I'm sorta leaning towards Black Widow still however. Something tells me Diggle wouldn't be able to take on an opponent as agile, nimble, and skilled as Black Widow. It'd be a good fight though.

diggle recently actually duelled oliver for a while. whenever the plot lets him, he doesn't do too badly vs named villains

Widow takes on a lot worse fodder than Diggle can contend with. Widow should win every time.

Fighting and defeating Chitauri and Ultron bots is substantially more impressive than fighting and defeating League and Hive members. Widow wins.

Most of their feats are against fodder, and while i'd say the Chitauri weren't that impressive in terms of durability, strength, skill, etc, the Ultron bots were quite a way above any of the criminals and assassins that Diggle has fought. However, Diggle actually has some feats against major characters in his show, so i don't think there's a big difference in skill here, if at all, although Widow's acrobatics will, as always, make this an annoying fight for her opponent. If this ends in a fist fight then i think it could go either way, but Diggle might be able to gun her down, as when Widow's shooting bad guys she tends to stand still and/or find cover, rather than flip about like she does in close combat.

Widow can win with the feats she's gotten by now, but Diggle was underrated when this thread was made and with just the feats available back then I would've said he stomps.

Although, wasn't he going toe-to-toe with a Dominator in the crossover?

That's interesting because I personally would put Diggle in the majority in a gunfight as he's shown a bit more feats of straight up accuracy. Meanwhile I'd give H2H to Nat has shown she can somewhat hang with bigger guys and also has her widow bite which tbh Diggle may tank 2 or 3 of before he goes down.

After this year's crossover, I'd put Diggle over Nat in gunfight as well. He is a better shot. Cqc can go either way. Widow's bite should KO Dig, but in a straight h2h, Dig would take it rather comfortably.
