Saitama evolves and surpasses Jiren, but if that doesn't sit well with people, Saitama can just travel back in time and kill Jiren before he ever became this powerful.
It's honestly possible that he might take this in future. 10 chapters ago there were still people disputing if Saitama was planet level, now after one semi-serious fight his sneeze is affecting the whole of Jupiter (11 times the size of Earth).
Saitama isn't there just yet. Jiren is a universal threat I believe, if not higher. This is, once again, too soon. Saitama is DBZ tier at the moment, but thats about it. He can tango with characters like Buu, but he isn't DBS tier. I think he'll be at this tier during his final fight.
@areneacaulem: It's not a NLF, cause Saitama's power will be multiplying constantly. If he's star level with in six minutes he'd be 1e+21 star level which is multi ++ Galactic.
@areneacaulem: The literal setting had GOD put limiters on people and Saitama broke his for infinite growth it's literally his power set.
It's not a NLF we literally know how fast he grows (With low ball Moon to Star in minutes which is a 5,000 times difference) and he can't reach a cap with out a limiter so he basically grows until you kill him or he wins.

I've just been lowballing, by math Saitama has a 10,000x power multiplier which is a 16x base self every second which would make him galaxy level in just eleven seconds if he keeps his power from the Garou fight.
