Jiren and Broly Vs Gas
@dragonkin: Gas wins
Both are weaker than current Goku and Vegeta. Gas negs.
Either one beats him
Lol.
@paytience: Dam the cope
@vegito315: There isn't any cope at all. Jiren was head and shoulders above the entirety of U7 combined...sure Goku was able to close that gap somewhat with UI but he still lost to Jiren every time he used it, including when Jiren was tired. There is no indication that he has closed thegap on him yet, and Jiren is too good for a novice like Gas. Broly was a Gogeta level threat and his rate ov improvement was too much for Gas to keep up with.
So I say again, either one solos.
Gas is taking on MUI goku and UE Vegeta at the same time while not even being at full power himself and MUI Goku and UE Vegeta could already individually one shot both jiren and broly at the same time.
This is one of the biggest stomps I’ve seen in the dragon ball universe in a while.
Gas is taking on the combined effort of MUI Goku and UE Vegeta. Anyone who's saying team is winning here has not read the manga.
@takenstew22: Nah dude...Jiren already beat the full UI while tired, and he was taking on Goku and Vegeta at nowhere near his full power.
There isn't any evidence that either MUI or UE has caught up to Jiren at this point. An exausted Goku was able hold Gas off with, and Jiren is arguably more able then both as a martial artist.
@whatamiseeing: Jiren isn't from Universe 7 and Broly has the fastest rate of improvent in DB...hell, maybe all of fiction. He doesn't beat either, much less both.
@paytience: UI Goku lost stamina/reached his time limit before he could further fight Jiren, which is why he lost. Goku also said himself Moro 73 was stronger than Jiren.
Gas is better. He took on a superior team and still held the advantage.
That being said, I don't think he stomps. The team can definitely put up some resistance before falling.

Jiren Didn't really Beat MUI in fact he almost lost to Goku because of it Goku losing control of MUI and severely weakening him is why Jiren didn't get eliminated right there even Jiren knew he was in danger of losing to Goku and wondered why Goku didn't finish him off

In DB yes but all of fiction no Pretty sure Asura has Broly beat in rate of improvement
@paytience: I agree with one thing and that's people clearly underrating Jiren and for no reason at all.
People argue that Jiren has been surpassed, and while it is true when it comes to some of the antagonists following that, history is written in permanent ink. It does not change the fact that Jiren's existing power was still the same as before, which is one that rivals or surpasses fully fledged Gods of Destruction. If he is decorated to be like that during the ToP, what happened now does not change the said fact.
Trying to claim that Jiren is fodder despite those accolades is like trying to re-write history with a crayon. Being superior to a God of Destruction is an accolade that only a small handful of characters share or surpass. Vegeta, for example, is not one of them.
However, the problem I see with your argument is how you claim that Jiren beat UI Goku while tired. First, Jiren at the time was at the peak of his power. He was demonstrating incredible resolve, while Goku was actually the one that was weakening. Whis noted that Goku failed to wield his form properly, which was why it went from Goku devastating Jiren within blows, to being unable to deny Jiren as much later into their fight. This had been Goku's greatest shortcoming during the ToP, which was why he failed to wield UI Omen for longer than a couple of seconds after his first use, and later being unable to use MUI well later on and dropping out of it soon after. MUI Goku at full power is clearly Jiren's better.
Jiren was only tired immediately after throwing out Goku, that was why base Goku and Vegeta who were also tired had a chance, and how he became completely helpless against Golden Frieza.
Further, claiming that Gas is a novice is false. This isn't Granolah, who is not as combat seasoned and a mere sniper. Gas is a seasoned hand to hand combatant even before he got his power up, and his fight with Granolah showed that he could already access some of his new powers at will. By the end of it, Gas evolved and was finally able to fully wield and control the latent power he was granted from the wish.
@noobsnowman: Kay, I'll argue the rest later, but this is going to trip some people out: Jiren was never claimed to be stronger than a Destroyer. In fact this gives credence to why neither Goku nor Vegeta has surpassed Beerus...
...it was RUMOR that there was a mortal that surpassed their destoryer; however Whis stated that said Destroyer beat Beerus in a contest of physical strength. Beerus said that the Destroyer in mention beat him in arm wrestling and that he would crush him in a fight. The Destroyer that beat Beerus in arm wrestling was not Belmod though, but Quitela. Meaning there was no indication that Jiren was ever Destroyer level, and that the rumor of a mortal reaching that level was just that: a rumor.
Gas has been shown to be behind everyone in the arc skillwise. It was Grahnola's inexperience and fatigue that gave Gas the win, but an exausted Goku was later able to hold him off on skill alone.
Gas isn't on this tier yet. Jiren beats him, and Broly evolves past him. I stand by that.
A serious Jiren struggled to hit and harm an untrained UI Sign Goku and he had to wear himself out to match an untrained Perfected UI Goku. The current PUI Goku is far stronger and better trained than ever and yet Gas while holding back is at least twice as strong as he is. I don't know why anyone would continue to persist with the idea that Jiren as he was during the ToP is still relevant power-wise.
Broly is weaker than 73 Moro who was nothing to even Moro arc PUI Goku. He was considered below Goku and Vegeta at the beginning of the arc. He's just as irrelevant as Jiren.
@paytience: No, it was stated in the manga teaser. In the actual manga itself, Jiren is superior to Belmod based on raw power alone, and Belmod himself was one of the best performing Destroyers in the Zen Exhibition Match, being the only Destroyer to emerge unharmed in a fight that required all Destroyers to fight to kill.
I never touched on the rumour you mentioned. I'm aware that there's a rumour that there is someone is superior to Beerus, but it's probably a fellow Destroyer if anything.
but an exausted Goku was later able to hold him off on skill alone.
Actually, it was more due to Goku's superior use of Instant Transmission. IIRC, Gas was also mainly testing his newfound powers on Goku, so he wasn't really going all out himself.
The moment Goku had to actually fight to win, and used his highest form, he struggled. His showing in the current chapter shows why he beats this team.
The simple fact is that Moro arc Goku is superior to ToP Goku and ToP Goku was in the same ball park as Jiren. The difference between beginning of Moro Goku and end of the arc is massive. That is not a gap that any wanker can pretend Jiren transcends. The basic ability to read proves this. prove that ToP Goku is significantly stronger than current Goku and an argument MIGHT be able to be made.
Gas absolutely dominates this fight. He exists in the same universe as Broly so it is obvious he is much stronger than him too.
@paytience: I agree, although, both jiren and Broly will have to surpass their current strength in order to contend with gas but I don’t think that should be too much of a problem for either of them.
Gas low diffs.
