i'm not sure i understand, but one could experience an electromagnetic pulse from something like an electric surge, explosions, or radiation right? and im sure certain beings or things may be vulnerable to them, but if jim hammond has already experienced these things which can cause them, I think that would make him invulnerable to them, at least to an extent.
hammond has been electrocuted, exposed to hard radiation, and been present at zero ground of an atomic explosion(which i believe produces large amounts of EMP)

When Clor was attacked by Storm, he didn't respond. However, when she emp'd him (sent one directly to his brain) he went down. I don't believe EMP's (to the head) are the same as the stuff mentioned before.

but i believe these events can cause emp to the brain , which would mean hammond has some unspecified resistance to them. therefore how do we know storm can effect hammond this way?

Because EMP's are not the same as explosions. It doesn't matter what type either. Having your system directly tampered with is not the same as surviving an electric assault.

ok then, speaking in MU terms, what proof is there that the android jim hammond is vulnerable to EMP? the unknown composition of his brain has shown resistance to emp outside of mU terms, but has not been shown to be vulnerable to EMP inside them.
