Jigen was stronger but way less durable from what it seems. Momoshiki also has way more raw power overall.

Jigen still doesn't have enough feats. The one ability we found out about him was that he can change the size of objects and himself whenever he wants.

Off topic: Naruto is hella nerfed.

Jigen. Him not getting ragdolled by weakened naruto and Sasuke is enough.

Considering what Jigen has done so far he wins easily.

I see people are quick to jump on the Jigen hype train.

So far, I'll give Jigen this- he's more skillful than Momoshiki. He has an interesting power in his shrinking ability and he doesn't seem to rely on raw power, unlike Momo.

However, we have not seen enough from him to give him the win yet. Remember that he and the duo are just testing each other out at this point- Sasuke hasn't even used his rinnegan yet, Naruto has only been using giant rasengans and hasn't even used chakra arms, never mind his full Kurama cloak. The real battle will likely start next chapter.

So far, apart from the shrinking ability, Jigen has done nothing that Momo couldn't also do.

On Naruto and Sasuke's level in h2h? Check.

Absorbing chakra? Check.

Chakra rods that limit opponent's movement? Check (in fact Momo's seemed stronger based on what we've seen so far).

Jigen is just about to get serious, with his horn starting to grow. So far it's too early to put him above Momo but after next chapter, maybe not.

Exacly what I was thinking. Jigen did better in h2h against peak Naruto than Momo against weakened.

Jigen most likely. He was barely fazed at all and he wasn't even at full power yet.

---> He's keepin' up with a Naruto and Sasuke. . . and he's toying around.

---> With his shrink ability he can literally cover his opponents with those Black Rods. . . and they can't even realize they're living porcupines till it's too late. . .

---> no solds Naruto and Sasuke attacks.

---> far more telepor-skilled than Momoshiki, 'cause Jigen can literally avoid attacks and trap his enemies in another dimension with his dimensional gates.

---> easily blitzed both Naruto and Sasuke more than one time.

---> absorbs High Level-Jutsu even if he's turned into the size of a. . . cell?

---> he has still to show his true and serious power.

Momoshiki has the Fire-Power advantage (so far). . . but against Jigen this will be useless thanks to Karma. In a H2H Jigen is surely superior and faster than Momo.

Jigen's ability shrinking is too op for Momoshiki.

Jigen, since hes comfortable taking on a 100% Naruto and a slightly drained Sasuke in h2h.

Momoshiki did better against naruto/sasuke but hes an idiot so he probably loses due to the shrinking ability

Just a reminder that momo has the byakugan and should have an even easier time spotting jigen than sasuke did

OT: Jigen takes it

Well, Momoshiki fought a less than 50% Naruto and heavily weakened sasuke (due to dimension hopping with like 8 people) and was still getting himself beat.

Jigen is fighting a 100% Naruto and slightly weakened sasuke (who only had to dimension hop himself) and he hasn't even used his 'final?' form and other abilities yet.
Though it can be argued that Naruto and Sasuke are just feeling jigen out right now without going full force, but still Jigen seems more impressive.

Momoshiki has greater DC though. Jigen hasn't done any DC feats.

Jigen should scales higher than Momoshiki however Jigen isn’t nearly as durable.

Momoshiki had a number of moves he can use to counter Jigen abilities such as the Rinnegan and Shadow possession.

Jigen either has to beat Momoshiki fast or his body will break down.

Jigen only seemed so strong due to his black receivers replenishing chakra from Naruto and Sasuke. The same technique won't work against Momoshiki with the Byakugan.

Jigen literally used taijutsu to accomplish what Momoshiki's giant golem failed to do.

Jigen needs a few more feats and he'll be utterly above Momoshiki.

Jigen one shoted kurama Avatar and Sasuke PS. Jigen didnot need to use his shrinking ability, jigen just punch momoshiki and he die(Momo). Jigen also can absorb all Momo attack and momoshiki weakness is taijutsu. Momoshiki literaly can't do anything to jigen.

Jigen Stomps. He completely decimated Naruto and Sasuke while on the other hand Naruto and Sasuke were toying around with Momoshiki. Also nothing in Jigens arsenal can be absorbed like other characters.

IMO i'd give Momo the win 5.5/10, as i said in another thread, Jigen only appeared stronger than Momo due to PIS.

I think momo will beat Jigen because;

- he has hjgher stamina/endurance (if you ask me this battle will boil down to who has the higher stamina because they both could counter each others techniques)

- His absorption technique is more advanced and he has better feats of absorbing stronger techniques and making said techniques his.

- Jigen didn't tank much so he featwise momo seems more durable.

• Counters to Jigens moveset

- BFR is not gonna work on momo

- Shrinking?? Well dude has Byakugan near 360 vision and we knlw the byakugan is better than the sharingan when it comes to enhanced vision.

- stakes?? Momo repels them with ST like he did to sasuke's fuma shurikens or how he cut the god tree in half.

@rednote99: taijutsu is not momo's weakness, considering he is a monster in taijutsu himself (you can say that about base momo though).

Jigen wins, he took on stronger versions of Naruto and Sasuke and won, while Momo was getting beat by 50% chakra drained Naruto and a Sasuke who lost a lot of Chakra transporting 8 people into Momo's dimension.

Naruto was able to boost Boruto’s Rasengan that it grew to a massive size and also became powerful enough to overpower Momo’s attack and even kill him. Possessed Jigen from whom Kurama, who never urged Naruto to give up before, actually tried to convince Naruto to retreat, should one shot.

Boruto villains are glass canons. None of them have displayed any levels of power like unto those from the past or the 4th war. They are mainly hyped.

ok so its the Full blooded Ohtsutsuki vs an Ohtsutsuki in a vessel.... Do you see the problem here

In the little skirmish he had with Naruto and Sasuke, Jigen was draining their chakra the whole fight while they where offering chakra (through jutsu)to him on a silver platter and sasuke was way more exhausted fighting Jigen than he was fighting Momoshiki.

Sasuke's Performance

Jigen Fight: Sasuke teleports in, switches once, uses his Susanoo, uses Amaterasu, then says "I can't do anything else or i won't be able to teleport again." And he fought with the 3 tomoe sharingan and his tomoe rinnegan the whole fight.

Momoshiki Fight: Sasuke teleports a bunch of people, uses lightning release to amp his speed and cutting power, summons a scroll and shoots out a ton of shuriken while adding lightning release to them, uses transformation jutsu to mimic a rasenshuriken, then switches with Momo when he gets trapped, then uses his Susanoo in conjunction with Naruto's Kurama Avatar, then switches again with his sword, then he does a chidori and switches THAT with the kunai in Momoshiki's hand. And he fought with the EMS and tomoe rinnegan the whole fight.

Sasuke was researching Jigen right before he fought, he teleported to that Ohtsutsuki dimension then he followed Jigen to his "dimension" so he was exhausted and Naruto was chilling at home so yeah he was in good condition. But the opposite can be said for Momoshiki's fight, Sasuke was chilling in the village so his condition was good and by the way he fought after teleporting he seemed just fine while Momoshiki drained half of KURAMA'S chakra, not Naruto's chakra so his condition was also good.

reminder that Naruto has all the tailed beasts' chakra and has the full nine tails in him and it has been shown that kurama can have zero chakra and Naruto would be unhindered, so I don't know where people got this idea that Naruto himself was drained and he was resisting Momoshiki, thats why it took so long to get halfway.And don't forget Jigen absorbed a lot of chakra from the Juubi so yeah, he had an advantage and still was below 10% power after it.

Momoshiki in character would know who Jigen is, maybe not at first but as soon as Jigen brings out his horn he will know and he has to bring it out fast or he is dead, Momoshiki also can see him even if he shrinks so its not going to affect him (via Byakugan)

There is just no way i see Momoshiki losing to Jigen

Jigen doesn't spam energy attacks that momo can absorb.

He's also overall stronger than momo due to the fact that he man handled nardo and sauce with mid difficulty, momo on the other hand was getting owned by the duo.

ABC logic doesn't always work because Momoshiki has the Byakugan that counters his shrinking ability. Jigen only seemed to have alot of chakra because he robbed a large amount from Naruto (who ran out of chakra after a few Rasengans despite having the full Kurama). Momoshiki also knows that Kama can absorb chakra so he won't waste any like Ninja duo did. With these two chakra sources gone, Jigen will have way less chakra than he did against Ninja duo.

Momoshiki (unfused) only as vessel himself could absolutely destroy Boro, whom Kawaki said was on par with base Jigen. And Fused Momoshiki just has to endure long enough for Jigen's body to break down.

I'd favor Jigen, but at some point we will probably see possessed Boruto fight Jigen which will give us a more accurate showing of the difference.
