Jaime Lannister runs the GoT gauntlet.

Rules:

The characters are fully rested for each fight.

The only way to win is by death, no yielding.

Each fight Takes place in a large cleaning in the woods, it is raining, and each character starts 10 feet away from each other.

Every character will be in character.

There will be 2 runs through the Gauntlet, The first one using characters feats from only the HBO series, the second will use their feats only from The books.

The Challenger

Jaime Lannister, The Kingslayer. Son of The Might Tywin Lannister, heir to Casterly Rock and Commander of the Kingsguard.

The Challenges..

1) Rodrick Cassel, Master at Arms of Winterfell.

2) Rory Cassel, Eddards personal guard.

Now the challenges really start..

3) Jorah Mormont, the Exile.

4) Loras Tyrell, the Knight of Flowers.

5) Bronn of the Blackwater.

6) Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Hand of the King

7) Brienne of Tarth.

8) Sandor Clegane, The Hound.

9) Gregor Clegane . . . The Mountain.

Well, I love Jory and Rodrik, but they get murderstomped. Jorah Mormont would fight hard, but Jaime is tool slick. Loras, who should be farther down the list, loses in the closest match to skill. Eddard, could beat Jaime, if the conditions were right...i.e. Fighting in the snow...otherwise he loses. Bronn, if he fights dirty enough, could win and I think he might, cause Jaime may underestimate him. Brienne only stalemated him in a duel, because he was bound at the wrists, starved and weak. The Mountain would get killed by Jaime, but I think The Hound could beat him.

Can't wait for Winds of Winter to come out.

I put Loras so far down the list because his feats with the sword are none compared his with a lance, and i figured men like Bronn and Ned have plenty more experience on their side (plus Bronn fights dirty which i think Jaime wouldn't expect at first.) Brienne flat out beat Loras off horse, so it was a little tricky for me to decide where to put him.

He defeats all.

Jaime clears. Its simply how he was set up. He was the best there was of his time. His story isn't about getting better as a warrior, its about getting better as a person. Some rounds might be quite tough, but he'll take it in the end.

TV only he might lose to The Mountain..

Give him a spear, he will clear in that case.

The Cleganes will be tough fights but Jaime wins the majority.

Jaime would probably find The Hound a harder enemy than The Mountain. I think he can clear with a clear majority over Gregor and perhaps a 7/10 over Sandor.

Bronn humiliates him from the show, not sure about books

Not sure he gets past bronn.

I'd personally guess both versions of Jaime would lose to the Mountain. He's just way too freakishly big and strong.

TV: Could stop at either 7 or 8, but would beat 9.

Books: Clears.

May stop at tv hound but he'd beat the Mountain. Book Jaime clear with little difficulty.
