Book version pre-hand loss SHOULD win. TV version I think it can probably go either way. Even if Jaime wins a majority, I don't think it would be easily or every time.
Post-Hand loss Jaime loses hands down.
I would also argue that no armor may hinder Jaime more, since the katana is a fast, light-weight sword that's slashes are good against unarmored foes. Conversely against a heavily armored foe, the katana's near-useless. So I feel like Round 1 is one where Nathan has a better chance, and Round 2 he's got a serious uphill battle.
TV Jaime loses Nathan even at the start of the movie fights 4 samurai by himself Jaime struggled against ned then lost his hand nothing impressive about his show version but book version stomps.
