Jack. Blackbeard is a joke. Jake was fought equally against a stronger Barbossa. Blackbeard struggled against a one-legged Barbossa, with Barbossa even gaining the upper hand a few times and hitting Blackbeard. Blackbeard only won by removing Barbossa's crutch.

Bonus round : Blackbeard gets stomped horribly. Will alone can stomp him, LOL. The producers said that Will was the best swordsman in the POTC franchise. Add the fact that he's now immortal and has Jones' supernatural abilities as the Dutchman's captain (i.e. superhuman strength, phasing through solid matter etc.)

Jack=Barbossa=Will>=Jones>=Norrington>Blackbeard (Salazar could probably top the list.)

Haven't seen the new movie yet, but I could see a serious Jack taking Blackbeard considering he went toe to toe with Davy Jones.

And? Jones only had one hand. Your point? Not to mention Jones wrecked both Elizabeth and Boostrap Bill in mere seconds without having to rely on his immortality.

@frankenmidget: No, Davy Jones had both hands free, one holding his sword and the other his grip, Jack had only one free hand, using his sword and the other with the box.

And i think Jack is better than Barbosa, in the first movie in the fight Jack apparently has winning.

Jones only has one hand he could use to utilize a sword. He didn't use his crab claw against Jack until he was disarmed.

So? Everyone in the franchise only used a single hand when dueling. And Jack was capable of using the chest to hit Jones.

Hector was dominating him for most of the the fight and was clearly winning even during the earlier part, with Jack being forced back until Hector purposely threw away his own sword.

Even the screenwriters have said Jack was the worst out of Will, Norrington, and Barbossa and was only capable of competing or winning against them due to his wits.

Jack should win by out smarting Blackbeard and some dirty fighting and in the bonus round Will and Jack beat them pretty soundly

After he purposely threw away his own sword and Jack was forced to give ground before that.
