Seeing as the general consensus is that Deku is now fast and strong enough to stomp Miles Morales, I'm interested to see how he'd fare against Tokyo Ghouls meanest characters.

This thread will constantly be "current Deku" so if he can't clear now, keep coming back once he gets new feats.

If Deku is going all out, he clears. The Ghouls durability against blunt force, in general, is kinda unimpressive and they've never taken anything on the level of Deku's 100% smashes

Man did the fights in Re not leave an impression on me, I can't remember half their feats.

I haven't seen the movie yet so that might change my perspective but I have heard the feats. For now I say morals probably keep him Deku getting too far, even if he's fast enough to keep up he'd need to tear them apart to get through healing and I don't think Deku's comfortable mutilating people. Even if he decides to kill over being beaten we won't pass Amon, IIRC he gave Ken a really close fight in part 1 and Amon was still human then.

@sy8000: It's because RE: had very subpar animation during the fight scenes, so you couldn't really gauge how fast, strong, and skilled the Ghouls were. It's only going to get worse in the next season due to them trying to cram everything in 12 episodes.

That said, Deku's only chance will be to go 100%, which would trash his own body. That would be a game ender going against Eto and Kaneki who both have superb regenerative abilities, and he'll just end up getting eaten. A majority of the ghouls here have pretty good regen and have extremely loose morals. Deku himself would get blitzed off the bat by Ayato since it's in his character to do so. I honestly don't see Deku clearing this whatsoeve. Ghouls in general can resist steel blades and normal bullets, so 5% One For All will not harm any S rated and above Ghoul at all. He's most definitely not getting past Eto imo, let alone Yoshimura. Arima himself is so laughably above Deku in H2H skill, he would get straight up stomped. I'd say round 3-4, though I'd personally put Ayato over Urie.

Off note, the movie was really good and I can't recommend it enough for fans.

Ghouls aren't bulletproof. Kagunes are, there's no mention their flesh is. 5% is far above bullets anyway. Durability isn't the issue, healing is.

Ayato also can't blitz. He broke the sound barrier but bullets are faster than sound. Ayato is faster though.

Ghouls themselves are bulletproof though, at least the higher-tiers are. The only 2 non-fodder ghouls we’ve seen get shot are Furuta and Yoshitoki, and the bullets pierced the skin but stopped dead against their skull both times, and that was using Q-bullets.

Not that it really matters mind you, as you said, 5% is better than a bullet.

I stopped reading Tokyo Ghoul when Ken went giant centipede, but Deku clears based on my knowledge up until that point.

In a straight up fight between the two, I'm not too sure who I'd back to be honest - Urie has the advantage as far as kagune match ups go however.

In any case, I put Urie above Ayato here just because of his resistance to blunt force, which should come in handy against Deku:

@jc9865: Understandable, and purely on in-verse power levels I might might be inclined to agree, but I put Urie above the two of them as he has better blunt force durability feats (considering Deku excels in BF)

That said, I do have Urie around SS~ rate. I think he has a solid chance to beat either Tatara or Ayato.

As far as I heard, he can now time machine gun fire and he’s easily large building level.

With canon feats he will probably stop at 1.

With non-canon feats he is immensely strong but Ghoul's have a ridiculous amount of regeneration and every time he punches smth his arm is gets broken. So he will probably stops at somewhere but I don't know where. :D He will stop at someone who can dodge his punches and shock waves.
