How so? Sasuke did just as well as Base Lee did against Gaara and that was before even using his Sharingan, as soon as he started using his Sharingan Gaara just hid in that Sand Orb thing until the end of the match.
Itachi fodderized Sasuke, what reason is there to assume he doesn't fodderize someone who at best is very slightly stronger than Sasuke?
Itachi wins, he can easily go H2H against Kakashi who is better at hand-to-hand combat than Lee(and the only lee naruto has seen fighting is the same one being used here...so....)

Sasuke copied Lee's speed through watching him fight but that doesn't mean he has the combat knowledge or hand-to-hand experience to replicate Lee's taijutsu.

This is false! Sasuke was completely fodderized by the Sound Four while a Rock Lee that had just left the hospital after recovering from his injuries with his fight with Gaara was able to hold his own against Kimimaro. The same Kimimaro that effortlessly fodderized hundreds if not thousands of KN0 Naruto. KN0 Naruto was able to easily blitz Sasuke before he got his third Sharingan tomoe.
The Itachi downplaying on this website needs to stop. The dude was a protege who was captain of ANBU black ops before puberty, murdered his clan and mastered the mangekyo sharingan at 13, has taken on several jonin while holding back and sick, etc. This idea that, "HuRr DuRr hE onLeY iS sTrOnG bEeCausE GeNjUtsU" is just not true. He was a protege and excelled in everything he did. He wasn't just some genjutsu master who sucked at, or was average at, everything else. Itachi stomps Rock Lee.
@theemperor95: He really isn't. There's a consistent and majority consensus that here that he loses to Pain, Gaara, Jiraiya, Obito, Kakashi, and even Killer Bee. If anybody "wanks" Itachi it's a very small minority.
@noone1996: if itachi faces anybody outside of his verse he instantly starts the fight with FTL unbreakable genjutsu for a quick totsuka blade that cuts and seals anything gg.
All those people actually have a solid chance at beating him aside from maybe kakashi and gaara
@theemperor95: A majority of users don't actually believe that. I'm not saying that it's unusual to think Itachi loses or has difficulty with those characters I mentioned, but the fact that most users think that Itachi loses against them just proves that he isn't wanked. Far from it actually.
Itachi eats lee. This is not fair. Lee can open 6 of the 8 gates, but yata mirror tanks every single attack lee can draw forward. Since you said that lee can't use gates and itachi can't use his hacks, then its still not fair. Itachi had perfect stats, which means without gates, his taijutsu was superior to gai's I rest my case and dont @ me
