Itachi Genjutsus then seals. Nagato is easily manipulated as said by Obito and not too bright.

Akatsuki stomp with equal stats..... Juubito's greatest advantage is stats. I don't see why Genjutsu won't work and if he an only use 1 TSB every 2 minutes he's getting Totsuka'd or soul stealed...

Itachi vs Nagato Winner is Nagato mid-Diff. Itachi needed help against an Edo Nagato, no way is he winning against alive Nagato by himself.

Juubito wins in a complete stomp.

that isn't going to matter when Nagato can just absorb all of Itachi's Ninjutsu with Rinnegan. as Shown in the last fight with Naruto and Sasuke, Sasuke, when he was running low on chakra, took naruto's chakra to replenish his. So it's not enough just being equals when in the long run Nagato will outlast Itachi big time. This is ignoring the fact that Nagato has far more ways to end the fight then Itachi.

okay, Read my post to the other member who said that to me. Nagato and Juubito win both of their matches.

Everyone in the Akatsuki uses Ninjutsu which Obito at that point can just casually negate. Nagato can use Rinnegan to absorb chakra from Itachi and outlast him in a fight regardless of stats equal.

@mister_stark: Shinra isnt doing anything against susanoo and CT takes hella chakra plus Itachi knows how to counter it, not to mention he has hardly any counter against his Genjutsu

How is he absorbing his chakra through a susanoo or genjutsu??? Itachi is way smarter and can utilizse his Genjutsu + totsuka to seal him

Equalizing stats is kinda wierd since neither have especially dominant stats outside Asura Path.

You made it Edo so Nagato doesn't have to worry about amaterasu, meaning he just closes his eyes and Shinra Tenseis.

you act like Itachi isn't going to use fireball Jutsu which=chakra. You need to infuse Chakra natures to use ninjutsu, so by just absorbing his ninjutsu he is absorbing chakra, or just absorbing his chakra.

If he could use Genjutsu so casually why didn't he do that in his fight with him? he absorbs Totska Blade since it is Etheral Sword and Rinnegan can absorb spiritual chakra as well.

to do that he needs to touch him which Nagato can just rip his soul or just almighty push, or universal Pull to grab him in close.

Show me rinnegan absorbing an ethereal blade, and he can only use 1 rinnegan power at a time anyways so shadow clones + genjutsu + totsuke is a gg

I Don't see how that will help him, are you saying Itachi is just going to not use Jutsu in his fight? Is the Ethereal blade chakra? Genjutsu isn't a reliable option if it was he would have used in his battle with Nagato to end it instead of dragging the fight. did you not watch the battle of Naruto and Nagato? Nagato was both Ripping out Naruto's soul and Absorbing his jutsu when Naruto tried to counter with a jutsu based attack.

ST kills him without Susanoo and he can't keep it up for ever.

@mister_stark: Purely plot, Itachi was not struggling against edo Nagato. ST couldn't even kill Kakashi much less Yata mirror, if he charges he gets totsuka's and after he uses it hes vulnerable for 5 seconds and he dies

Yata mirror on protects the front and it doesnt matter Susanoo is pure chakra which Nagato can absorb the only reason he landed TB was becasue Naruto and Bee helped him break CT alone he dies.

You act like Nagato can use all his powers at once, he has to touch to absorb chakra, is he using ST or absorbing chakra? After he does one Totsuke blade seals him or Itachi Tsukoyomi's him

@mister_stark: Stats are equalized here and Edo has unlimited stamina and chakra so not sure what you mean by weaken, you should watch the fight again Itachi barely uses his abilities. Nagato has one chance to one shot him but he can't if he uses ST he's on a 5 sec cooldown where he gets destroyed.

your argument is Genjutsu is deciding factor against Rinnegan. My argument is, if Genjutsu was so effective why did he instantly use it since you say he is smarter, If it was so much a deciding factor he would have used it instantly to end the fight since people were dying at that moment and he needed to win that fight and take down Kabuto.

He didn't see it coming because of the smoke and light from the blast that was caused when itachi, Naruto, and Killer bee attacked the CT. yes, that is actually an effective way to blind Rinnegan because they used light to blinded both Rinnegan from Madara and Ten-Tails.

I am convinced that you haven't watched or read Naruto at all, so I just going to end this on that note and avoid wasting my time. Totsuke blade is Chakra, Rinnegan can absorb Spiritual chakra as well. the only reason he didn't absorb it was because he wasn't looking at itachi in that moment he was looking at the Light from the explosion from their combined attacks on the CT.

here is your proof that Rinnegan can absorb Totsuke blade.

Chakra is composed of Spirit energy and the Totsuke blade is an Astral spirit weapon. The fact that Nagato is Able to Rip out your soul is proof that he can, in fact, absorb the Totsuke blade if he sees it coming.
