@streak619: And Team together doesn't have the reaction time/agility to keep up? I mean I knew Itachi had a speed advantage but I didn't think it would be anything that the team couldn't offset by working together. I'm apparently wrong but I guess I thought Spidey/Venom were faster than they are.

IDK who Itachi is, but Spider-Man and Venom have both reacted to lightning.

Itachi reacted to natural lightning in 1/1000 of a second while almost completely blind and half dead and holding back to let the other guy win. Oh and he had a terminal illness also at the moment.

Should probably restrict Amaterasu as well. Not sure how Spidey and Venom would deal with that if they get hit.

Consistently better speed feats, physical stats advantage, and webbing.

Seeing as how they’ve both dodged things faster than Itachi I can’t see Itachi tagging them especially considering that this fight is bloodlusted.

1 millisecond reaction speed isn't that great LOL. Spider-Man even has a couple microsecond level reaction feats. And Venom has been able to tag the likes of Gamora.

I'm not saying the team wins, just that the feat you mentioned doesn't seem to be enough to guarantee him a win.

Itachi is a genjutsu beast. He can easily best them in that category

I don't know how skill adds up, but lightning timing, Amaterasu, and Genjutsu give him the certain victory.

Not to mention he locked arms with KCM Naruto and KCM Naruto held open the four tails mouth, a strength feats that neither have shown physically capable of performing.

@blackspidey2099: What makes it impressive is that Itachi was nearly dead and blind. But what makes it really impressive for me is that Itachi isn't a physical fighter. His main skill is in Genjutsu (illusions) which have been restricted. Anyway, he still has Amaterasu which burns for 7 days and night and is impossible to extinguish.

@b_r023: Ahh, okay, in that case it's pretty impressive. What sorts of speed feats does he have when he's healthy and not holding back? Also, I have no clue what Ameratsu is.

To be fair, Spider-Man/Venom don't move as fast as lightning either, though they can dodge it.

right, they don't, but the fact they can dodge it effectively means itachi isn't landing anything, at this point in the show the cast's best speed feats quantifiable are something like outpacing explosions/faster than the speed of sound

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ NARUTO:

That's the funny thing, all the fights that he had was him not really taking anything seriously because he was shown as a horrendous villain who was in truth a spy working for the good guys so he never really went out every time he fought against our MC team. After he died, we found out that he was borderline blind, terminally sick and holding back against his brother in their final battle. So, we never really got to see him at his fullest potential. The best we saw him of was when he was brought back to life and nearly defeated our protagonist and one of the strongest people in the series, After that he one-shotted the biggest boss prior to this point who solo'd our protagonist and his entire village which was like a couple of thousand people. After that he went and put a guy in an endless cycle of illusion for eternity until he accepted who he was deep down inside after humiliating him in battle.

He is a beast with Illusions though. His strongest feat if I remember correctly was from a Novel. I haven't read it but according to the guys on Fan wiki, he made his girlfriend imagine her entire life in .000000001 billionth of a second.

But take that with a grain of salt tho, because it was stated many times that 3 seconds equals 3 days in his illusions.

@b_r023: So he is featless when healthy? His illusions sound super-powerful but they aren't too relevant too this battle (thankfully for Spidey and Venom, LOL). I honestly don't know anything about anyone in Naruto, so I'll probably leave this thread here. I only came in this thread to point out that both Peter and Flash can dodge lightning as well... :)

He was half blind on the verge of death with a serious illness. In prime condition he'd be even further in the micrisecond tier.

Can I see the microsecond feats you mentioned. Never heard of spidey being that fast.

Even if they are not outliers. He is still not as fast as Itachi & neither do they have any answer to Itachis low level Gen Jutsus. He one shots both of them by just pointing his finger at them trapping them in his illusions in the process.

You have to limit Itachi to H2H only to make this debatable.

@b_r023: yeah but he reacted by activating susanoo protecting him yeah? It’s restricted here so he would need to use different jutsu in his arsenal. I don’t doubt he could pull it off but he doesn’t really have defensive techniques iirc outside of susanoo and maybe using Amaterasu as a way to get negate a blitz or something

OP says Tsukuyomi is restricted, not all Itachi's genjutsu. This means Itachi can still use Izanami, though probably only as a last resort. I was going to bring up his finger genjutsu, but I don't know if that level of genjutsu would work on people without chakra. Edo Itahci (who should be weaker than healthy prime Itachi) was swapping hands with KCM 1 Naruto, and KCM 1 Naruto blitzed the raikage iirc.
Even without susanoo and tsukuyomi, Itahci still has shadow clones, fire style jutsu, and the slight precog due to mangekyo Sharingan. He also has Amaterasu, though I don't know if he would be able to hit the spiders with it. He could still use it to zone them and perhaps even surround them.
Overall I'd give it to Itachi 8/10. He's much faster and still has decent versatility enough to put these guys down.

Itachi lighting reacting to lightning feat is easy to debunk he didn’t move outta the way he put up his susanoo and he knew it was coming venom should be able to counter the genjutsu

Him knowing it was coming is irrelevant. You can know a bullet is coming but if you aren't fast enough to react to it then you'll still get hit (unless you aim dodge, which isn't what Itachi did). Also, he put the susanoo up after kirin flew at him as you can see Itachi doesn't have his susanoo up when sasuke fires kirin.
Don't know much about agent venom, how does he counter genjutsu?

As much as Naruto fans want to believe it the team has NO chakra for Itachi to even manipulate for his genjutsu.

Genjutsu works by controlling the victims chakra flow of their cerebral nervous system. Chakra which the team does not have....

Animals have been affected by Genjutsu. So unless you wanna say Hagaromo went all Doctor Do Little...

@chaos239:I think it's only sharingan+ genjustsu that doesn't require chakra (not 100% on that) so I'm not sure itachi's finger genjutsu would work here.

@maestromage: Sharingan Genjutsu are still Genjutsu, just stronger. They are still the same thing.

@chaos239: true my point was that I don't think any non-ocular genjutsu has been shown to work on beings without chakra, possibly because ocular genjutsu involves pouring your chakra into their body through the eyes iirc. Which is why I'm not sure the finger genjutsu would work.

Here is Jiraya going over genjutsu with Naruto when they talk about bringing Sasuke back. Who USES genjutsu via the Sharingan.

And with animals as far as I can remember animals in the Narutoverse TOO have chakra. Kiba's dog for example?

As for as I can tell its only Kaguya that doesn't need chakra because an Infinite Tsukuyomi is NOT the same as a regular one. There is no proof that Itachi has the same abilities as Kaguya.
