Itachi (sick) vs Part 1 Orochimaru w/Edo Hokage

- Itachi is in the condition as he was just before he fought Hebi Sasuke

- Random encounter

- Victory by death or KO

- Combatants start 30 metres apart

The hokages + Oro should be too much against most kage level opponents.

Although Itachi can surprise Oro again with his totsuka blade and seal one of the hokage, it won't be that easy since the hokage still have the skills of their former selves, especially Tobirama who doesn't rely on fancy jutsus that cost a lot of chakra.

Itachi should fare much better than Hiruzen against a Kage. If I recall, they couldn't fight to the best of their capabilities back when Oro summoned them in part 1, and well, we've already seen how easily Itachi handles Oro himself in combat.

Itachi stomps. There is a reason Orochimaru went after Sasuke instead of Itachi. There is a reason Orochimaru didn't kill him in the flashback from when they were both in Akatsuki. He knew he'd be killed and that he is no match for Itachi's eyes. Itachi remains too OP due to genjutsu+sealing sword whatchamacallit. If bringing the kages was all it took for Orochimaru to kill Itachi he would've done it ages ago and avoided the whole Sasuke thing.

Itachi takes this high difficulty. He beats Orochimaru in every encounter. And Orochimaru knows this, as he fell victim to his Genjutsu once before. He is just a Snake against a Dog in this fight.

Not only in his fight with Sasuke was he Sick, he was also holding back. He barely used Amatetsaru until end of fight, and Susanoo was only used when he was at his limit and almost out of Chakra, as he had dragged the fight on too long making his visual prowess fade faster.

Besides, the Kage aren’t even at 50% of their true power if Old Man Hiruzen could tag them. While the Upgraded Edo Hashirama and Tobirama in War made the ones used in chunin exams look like children.

Come to think of it, if Itachi switched places with Orochimaru and attacked the village during the Chunin Exams he would have did way better against Hiruzen, and destroyed the village until Jirayai or Gai showed up.

Itachi proceeds to oneshot each of these super weakened reanimated kage and orochimaru with little to no difficulty.

Orochimaru is slept on a lot.

Sick Itachi doesn't have the stamina to deal with Edo Hashirama or Tobirama. Not to mention, Amateratsu and Tsukuomi are useless against Edo.

The ONLY reason why Itachi beat the Hydra jutsu was because he has the two most hax weapons with his Susanoo. Oro was literally just laughing at him prior to that.

ALSO sick and near death Orochimaru was swapping hands with a 4 Tails Naruto and just laughing at him. Literally. He also didn't have his arms then either.

Orochimaru can probably take this with his Edo support in high diff.

Itachi should be much faster than everyone here. The Edo Kage that Orochimaru summoned at this point were barely a ghost of a shadow of the versions in the War. In fact I don't recall anything about them having regen or unlimited chakra like War Edos.

Add this to the fact that people like to say "Itachi's stamina sux", but forget when it's a fight to the death, he managed to pull off ridiculous feats while half dead and mostly blind.

Id take itachi because of a easy to use sealing justu and a clutch genjustu

Oro sees Itachi and proceeds to run away, because of the two previous ass beatings he received.

I sort of dislike how easily Itachi handled Orochimaru when before that it was stated that both Itachi and Kisame were cautious of fighting Jiraiya, who is around Oro's skill level. That was always very contradicting for me.

I'd say if Orochimaru could actually beat a sick Itachi at the time he fought Sasuke. Itachi was basically blind and his stats weren't nearly as good as they were when he was healthy. Despite it being impressive he fought at all that way, Sasuke only beat Orochimaru because he was bedridden, if Oro was healthy and had his arms he would have killed Sasuke easily. I believe Sasuke even alludes to that at one point though I forget the chapter. Not to mention that Orochimaru not only survived, but held his own against Four Tails Naruto while not at his best.

Combine with the admittedly weaker Hashirama and Tobirama at his side and he should beat sick Itachi. Itachi's only chance is to get off a good genjutsu or his Susano, but given his condition there's no telling how long he can keep it up for.

Itachi wrecked Orochimaru and I don't recall the edo hokage being too impressive. All we know about the edo hokage is they weren't at full strength so we can only scale them to the third. And its hard to argue for the third because he is mostly hype, a lot of which is likely hyperbole at this point.

So I would go with Itachi. He can seal the hokage with the touska blade.

What's debatable about it? Orochimaru nearly killing Jiraiya several times, the very own statement from Jiraiyas mouth, or the various feats that Orochimaru has that places him above Jiraiya unquestionably?

O/T: the only reason kage couldn't show their power was due to a barrier, Edo should low diff.

Was it sage mode jiraiya tho? Also lets not forget tsunade(who is the physically strongest sanin and has insane regen)

The Edo kage is nerfed by orochimaru to prevent them from breaking on his control.

Susanoo's yata mirror is strong enough to neutralize all attacks while the sword of totsuka seal them off one by one.

Why can't Itachi use the same Genjutsu he used on Kabuto to force Orochimaru to remove the Edo. Also, Itachi has already fodderized Orochimaru, two heavily nerfed Hokage aren't making enough difference imo.
