Have you seen Infinity War? I’m in awe of your foresight.
But seriously, can’t say that until this version of Thor stops appearing. Thor loses as of now, but things could change with Infinity War and Avengers 4, and maybe even a future Thor 4.
@aquatic_pianist: yeah and more movies with Superman will come out too. He can only get stronger. Thor has a long way to match current Supes.
@bruceveidt: Just like Wonder Woman between BvS and JL, right?
@aquatic_pianist: that's silly.
You don't know if Thor is getting an amp either.
For all we know he could die in Infinity War.
@bruceveidt: It isn’t silly at all. If it happened to Wonder Woman it could happen to Superman. But the point is neither of us know. Thor could get amped or nerfed, Supes could get amped or nerfed. Saying that Thor will NEVER beat Superman as if you know both Thor’s and Supes’ future strength is what’s silly.
Thor could hurt like a MOS Superman with his barehands, but he isn’t doing much to current Superman.
@aquatic_pianist: I'm saying it, or quoting it actually, with assurance because as of right now Thor can't even tickle Superman with his most powerful attack. Clark survived a nuke at its core, and the blast wave was nearly as big as the entire city of Metropolis. That's multiple levels above Thor.
In order for Thor to actually compare to Superman or even hurt him, he'd need to get a laughably big amp just to contest Clark. And I'm pretty sure that won't happen in Avengers Infinity War unless he becomes Rune King Thir or something.
@worldofthunder: to be fair, its not as if he tanked that Nuke. He was completely KOed and, frankly, looked dead. If the sun hasn't revived him, who knows what would have happened?
@amcu: but, but,but Clark can tank AA Thor's attacks!
@worldofthunder: Thor survived being at the heart of the Sokovia explosion, which would take the force of at least a nuke to completely vaporize the island. I could use that argument to say that Supes power output can’t come close to harming Thor, but I don’t, because both Thor and Superman have been harmed by far less, unless you’d like to believe that Zod and Doomsday hit with the force of a nuke. Both the Sokovia and nuke durability feats are impressive, but they are likely both outliers.
@amcu: but, but,but Clark can tank AA Thor's attacks!
Oh yes!
I had forgotten that Clark no sold a 10 Gigaton nuke and took no damage while going through a planet level mountain.
MCU Thor can't even tickle him.
Superman can tank World Breaker Hulk punches and has galaxy level durability.
lest we forget
Thor can hurt, damage or defeat Superman although Superman wins for the majority
A better question would be If there is a toilet in the world that can sustain the damage of Superman's Dukes after he eats Chipotle ?
@zepta_pon: lol.
OT: Thor can not do much to Superman with his physical strength alone.
@zepta_pon: the last one is obviously for comedic purposes. It’s so very obvious
I can agree with this. We haven't seen much from Thor without his hammer. It's highly highly unlikely for anything to really change, but we still only saw like 20 minutes of a serious fully powered Thor with no hammer.
Thor wasn't at the heart of Sokovia evident by the fact that he was literally on the outside of Sokovia. Tony said that all the force was distributed throughout the city to vaporize it so Thor didn't even take half of it. He only took the outer parts, something even Iron Man tanked. This is very consistent with his other durability showings, so it's not like he survived a 50+ megaton explosion. Unlike Thor, Clark actually survived at the core of the nuke and he survived the entire thing. Saying Clark can't hurt Thor because Thor survived an island busting explosion at its heart is false because the force wasn't concentrated on him to even begin with.
I'd concede to your point of lesser things hurting him, but your argument is that Zod and Doomsday hurt him so Clark doesn't have nuke-level durability... in which both of them are his physical equals. This argument is backward as hell. Clark has been damaged or injured by literally nothing other than a nuke (while weakened) and kryptonite. Doomsday and Zod being able to hurt Clark is a feat for them because they are his physical equals. If anyone can hurt Clark then that's a feat for them. Just like it's a feat for Hulk that he hurt Thor, or Kurse hurting Thor. Zod and Doomsday have no feats other than being equal or better than Clark so if they can hurt Clark it's feats for them, not the other way. They have the power to do it. I mean, these characters are based on planetary, or at least near-planetary, level characters. Is it that absurd to think that they just are that powerful? BTW, Man of Steel Clark is far weaker than BvS Clark. The time gap between the two were 18 months or something, which is plenty of time for Clark to absorb more sunlight and grow stronger.
@worldofthunder: to be fair, its not as if he tanked that Nuke. He was completely KOed and, frankly, looked dead. If the sun hasn't revived him, who knows what would have happened?
I didn't say he tanked it. Surviving it at its core while weakened is enough to suggest that he's multiple leagues above Thor.
If a punch from zod that sent him to the top of a skyscraper couldn't hurt him, thor stands no chance in hell
Superman can tank World Breaker hulk punches and has galaxy level durability.

Since when does beig mummified by a nuke mean you have nuke level durability and nothing under a nuke can hurt you? Too much friction burn being suffered by Superman fans, anyway Diana was able to hurt Supes so Thor can too
OT: for real though DCEU Superman can tank World Breaker Hulks punches as stated above so no, Thor isn't hurting statue arguement Supes before he snaps his neck
@kevd4wg: I may have put that wrong. Doesn't matter, the force wasn't concentrated on Thor
@worldofthunder: He was in the epicenter of the explosion
If Diana can, Thor can. But he would have to tag him first.
Anyways, I’m a little disappointed in the Diana/Supes fight. Here you have the daughter of Zeus, the Godkiller, and she gets taken out like yesterday's trash. I understand that this movie was to return Supes to the symbol of hope, but they just made him too OP. The rest of the league just looks fodder. He’s stronger than their strongest guy, he’s as fast as their fastest guy, it just seems silly. And that’s why Marvel destroys DC in the box office.
@worldofthunder: He was in the epicenter of the explosion
Epicenter is close to center of sokovia the light beam clearly proves It.
