There's Strange Supreme, Infinity Ultron, Watcher, Celestials, Scarlet Witch, Dormamu, Eternity, current Thor, Gorr, Captain Marvel and some more.

He's not the strongest in physical strength or raw power

Marvel and Scarlet Witch overpowered him easily, so no.

Thanos with the Full Gauntlet is more powerful than Scarlet Witch.

Without the Gauntlet ? He would get mid diffed by Hela lol

I agree with the users above for the most part.

I think Odin, Scarlet witch, Hela, and Captain Marvel should be stronger than base Thanos.

Thanos is in no way shape or form the strongest MCU character.

Even Endgame Thor was close enough to the point he can match and press him in Strength, as well as disarm his ass:

In EG Base Thor could break physically Thanos’s grip and disarms him of his weapon on his own:

He could also physically prevent Thanos from killing him for a lengthy amount of time while in a massively disadvantaged leverage position and while Thanos had the chance to push his entire body weight down into the axe plunge:

Meanwhile, Lightning mode Thor performs similarly by physically bringing Thanos to his knees and had him gritting his teeth:

So essentially both Pre-L&T base and lightning mode Thor performed at the physically weaker but comparable to Thanos level strength.

Base Thanos loses to Wanda, Gorr, Hela, L&T Thor & Jane, etc.

And that's ignoring the God-Tiers who would fodderize the characters above with a literal wave of their hands, such as Infinity Ultron, Watcher, Dark Strange Supreme, IG Thanos, The Celestials like Arishem, etc.

No obviously, not even close. Not even IG Thanos. WI Ultron was better with the stones than Thanos.

He's still stronger than Thor however. Thor has literally gotten no new feats in L&T that proves he's physically above Thanos but people for some reason like to pretend he did because he trained or something. At most, you can argue he's gotten close to him. Strength isn't even the only factor, Thanos is way more skilled than him too.

There's a lot of characters above him in base like Dormmamu, Celestials, Alioth, Wanda, Hela, Surtur, Infinity Ultron, Supreme Strange, Watcher, etc...

The Celestials weren't even remotely bothered by the Infinity Gauntlet, so they should almost certainly be above them.

Also, Kang wasn't bothered by the Infinity Gauntlet. Same logic.

Dormammu was stopped by a single stone.

Scarlet Witch has done nothing on the power level of infinity gauntlet characters.

Supreme Strange would wreck Scarlet. Like... Badly.

Better feats. Simple.

@living162637: oh you mean that fat ass version of Thor ? We was what a real thor could do against a full gauntlet Thanos. Thor snuck up of him but Thanos got up right away and proceeded to blast a beam of energy at him powered by all 5 stones, yet Thor overpowered him no difficulty.

If youre referring to the infinity war opening scene we never saw what went down. It looked as though they shot blasts at the ship before entering and that could've been what took Thor and the asgardians down, considering all the fire everywhere

Plus Hela is far more versatile than Thor with more weapons at her disposal.

Hela would beat Endgame Thanos 1v1 imo

I'm mostly with you here. However, Thor got some sweet battle IQ feats and reflex/speed/reaction feats in L&T that's plain good. The initial fight in which he reacted to several of those laser/energy weapons after it fired on him + the thunderbolt move. Some slick shit right there, considering it's Thor.

No, Wanda is, she literally beat his ass and forced him to beg for an air strike.
