Is high end/outlier MCU Thanos a MFTL mountain+ buster?

Captain Marvel wasn't going faster than light when she fought Thanos.

Iron Man repulsors are >>>arrow speed as shown in Civil War,not light speed

Hulk didn't hurt Surtur,just moved him which is still an amazing feat.

Different Surturs. Surtur is a size-changing dude as he gets his full power. Also changes strength, durability, striking, and destructive AoE power as well. Surtur didn't get hurt by Hulk's hit either. Thanos probably did.

Repulsors aren't light nor light speed.

Carol never used her travel speed when she fought Thanos

When she was punching Thanos, it seemed like they were fighting at peak human speed (to be generous)

With the gauntlet he is like multi-continental or life warper, with at least Galaxy range.

In speed, I dont see him LS with our without the gauntlet.

Without the gauntlet he should be like MCB/town level.

With his outlier and wanked feats, Thanos is at, "I can survive a punch from DCEU Superman but the second will kill me" level.

@eri123: Thanks. Repulsors are clearly much faster there though hard to say by how much based on this alone. I'd guess 3 times faster at the very least.

None of these are outliers.

None of the punches Hulk landed on Thanos were as powerful as the Surtur punch (he'd still tank the Surtur punch though). Plus the Surtur punch feat is incredibly overrated. He only stunned him and moved his head a bit.

Captain Marvel is nowhere near LS in terms of combat.

Thanos reacted to Captain Marvel who can go massively faster than light as well as reacted to a Ironman repulsor blast which is light speed.

Hulk hurt Surtur who no sold a mountain busting attack with out flinching and Thanos didn't even bleed from Hulk's hits.

Only in space where there is no friction to put a speed cap. And travel speed is irrelevant for combat speed/reactions.

Repulsor blasts are not lightspeed, hypersonic if we are being generous subsonic to supersonic realistically. They are not light, they are particle beams. Scarlet witch could perceive them and they were not that fast ever, in any scene. Even in the slow mo scene of AoU their speed was the same as their consistent speed.

The one that no sold the mountain range blast was far bigger, plus Hulk's hits have much much smaller area. Id be like calling a bee room level because a bee sting can hurt a human who can survive being in the overpressure range of a tnt blast.
