Is she ?
No she can't. The Presence cannot die unless he wills it. Lucifer inherited this ability from him because it's part of the willpower. Death has no claim on either of these entities, they were meant to end themselves by themselves. Lucifer and The Presence both leave creation to the void. And death continues to claim everybody else until no one is left. This is how the world ends in DC.
Isn't there a actually scene where it's referenced she would indeed one day claim him also?!
Seems people dont want to bring it up though
She should be capable if he was to allow it, but there is precedent that she has no authority over either Micheal or Lucifer, which should mean she cannot claim him unless that was the case.
I think it would be a situation similar to how the Morpheus incarnation of Dream died. Where he allowed himself to be taken willingly because he knew it was his time and wanted to end his role as Dream of the Endless
There is no evidence the Presence was killed. only Mental Gymnastics. any "God" that was killed was Darkseid.
the Presence's death causes the death of all angels, not just spectre and Radiant. regadless of any made up head-canon that is not confirmed by panel.
this is the same guy who argues that all the Endless exist only in Universe 51 even though the DC Cosmology map tells you the Endless may exist outside of Universe 51.
The presence has never died if he dies the creations goes with him rox beat 2 hosts thats it. The other him Corrigan claimed to have killed him after he had a chat with him but he didn't actually kill him heck the next issue heaven opens up to Corrigan an a light craves something on his grave. Kinda can't open heaven when the presence straight up states he ate everyone in heaven to prove a point
All the Endless are cited below Limbo and DC Comics stops being DC Comics there. It takes a ton of favoritism to look at a map that is now over 11 years old and say the sequence of listed characters is something other than what its always been and hope to be taken seriously.
only in Universe 51 even though the DC Cosmology map tells you the Endless may exist outside of Universe 51.
Death of the Endless does not focus on weight class or raw power. She cannot be measured by the concept of linear power or even dimensional tiering. She's just death.
Anything non-omnipotent can get killed, you only need to surpass it with either superior linear power or superior intellectual advantage. And these entities fall to Death, regardless if they have an afterlife to go or not.
The Presence is a character, flexible enough to change depending on the perspective his current writer has on God.
But the Presence's true nature is perceived as this, totally formless entity, with no concept, just nothingness beyond all nothingness and any order of concept, duality, boundary to JM De Matteis. And JM De Matteis has written more about the Presence than other DC writers.
Under regular DC circumstances, Death has no claim on the Presence. She might have claim over his human perceived aspect as Yahweh, but Concepts originate from God, and God (and anyone who invokes his Boundless Will) can rewrite any Absolute Concept.
