It was never stated he was weakened by him. He had his armor ripped apart and a bit of his face burned, but that'd leave him in the same state he was when he tanked the Big Bang.
So according to your logic Captain Universe is planet level. This some type of a joke. Captain Universe Venom killed a Celestial. Captain Universe repeatedly injuring Knull.
@elvinisaev42: You should tag people when you respond to them. Cap Universe isn't planet level, he's way above since he stomped Knull. What I'm saying is Knull tanking a big bang isn't consistent, and you could use the same logic to say he's orders of magnitudes below star level since he died upon contact with one. You can see Knull tank that one hit from Eddie with just a bloody nose.
They aren't "consistently" any level. Surfer will go from universal matter manip in one issue to knocking himself out running into Iron Man in the next. Thanos will go from shrugging off a black hole collapsing on him the size of a solar system to then being asked by the person who knows him best if the damage came from a regular nuke and his max blasts being said to be mountain level, while someone he's fodder to dies to a gas giant exploding.

I think solar system or higher feats tend to be high ends for these two, so for them to be consistently on that level seems like a stretch. Maybe someone can try to tally how many solar system (or higher) level showings Thanos or Surfer have in comparison to their other showings.
@thespartanb345t: I mean, this is a question about feats and consistency, not power scaling. Surfer definitely competes with Thanos when it comes to quantifying feats on stellar levels.

It wasn't burned at all, his face was melting into goo when that happened.
Surfer conceding that the star he expanded right in Knull's face wouldn't kill him should be enough to suggest that Knull wouldn't die unless he was massively weakened or on the brink of death by previous attacks. And that sort of injury is more than enough to bring one to the edge.
Thanos consistently survives more deadly situations.
Thing was MASSIVELY nerfed in those encounters. And he was still only toying with Thanos! Quit trying to highball! Or are you trying to imply that Chins is Beyonder level?
