vs
Movie version of Iron Man. All feats can be used from each movie. (Except feats from Iron Man 3). New-52 Deathstroke.
-No prep
-No knowledge
-Morals off
-Start 50 feet apart
-Standard gear for both combatants (Slade gets Nth armor).

@jashro44: Is that usually his standard gear?
@noone301994: it has been, however Slade has been rebooted with what appears to be weaker armor.
Ooooo...good match. Not really sure. At 1st I wanted to say Ironman, but I remember Slade feats like beatin Lagacy (threw a submarine at DS) and he also beat Lobo as well. Slade's Nth Metal is pretty awesome
I'll say 50/50 for now.
Agreed. Didn't New 52 Slade beat up Bronze Tiger as well? I wonder if his Nth Metal could with-stand (movie) Iron-Man's lasers though.
@jashro44: Is that usually his standard gear?
It was standard gear throughout the new 52 until his most recent ongoing for reasons unknown.
Morals off? Iron Man does the same thing he did to the terrorists in the first movie with his shoulder guns or uses his mini rockets to level the playing field. I doubt Deathstroke would survive Iron Man's cutting laser, which has cut through other suits and giant alien monsters with ease.
@cable_extreme: i think it's called chain mail but I think any Ironman after the MK2 can beat Deathstroke
@ninjawarrior268: you think what is called chain mail? He had promethium chain mail, shoulder plates etc..in his pre-52 outfit.
However, his new 52 outfit consist of a mixture of NTh metal armor affording him insane durability in comparison. The main reason we ask is that current Deathstroke only has 3 issues (that I currently have, the 4th may be out) and the armor depicted in that is weaker than what we are use to. But if we were to use that version, we know nothing about him really.
Iron Man has the advantage of the air and has enough missiles and lasers to get past Slade's gear IMO so Tony wins.
Slade no doubt.
Ironman.
Isn't movie Iron Man at a serious disadvantage in the speed department?
@jake_fury: my thoughts.
With Nth metal I'll take Slade. Without it Tony wins.
This. People overrate the hell out of movie Iron Man because of the preconceived notion that Iron Man in any form > Street levellers no matter what.
With Nth metal I'll take Slade.
So you think he's that durable enough to tank most of IM's attacks? Not to mention IM is a lot faster and has a lot of ways to blow him up.
Iron man isn't faster than Slade at all in terms of combat speed, and Slade has enough cutting power to cut the wing off of a military jet. I think Slade is durable enough to tank some of iron mans attacks, and I believe he has the means to get in close to cut him with his sword.

You're right with combat speed. And understood. But why is Nth metal the difference between a win and a loss here?

What giant alien monster? Jarvis said the suits power would drain before they hoped to penetrate it's shell...?

At least Mach 1

Because he's stomped a mid-tierer in it, and with it he can tank any explosions Tony uses.
Slade no doubt.

Because Nth metal will let him tank damage, and Slade doesn't have a lot of showings without Nth metal. Not nearly enough to make an argument. He did stomp bronze tiger without Nth metal but iron man is way too different from bronze tiger.
