No, I said he used it as a baseball so that he can hit it way harder than he would've without it.

That is strictly inorrect as the post above you shows.

Iron Man was perfectly fine with his Mjolnir hits, this shows us that he can't do that without Stormbreaker,

Iron-Man wouldn't be fine from a strike like this:

so wast iron man in the epicenter of this explosion?

No Caption Provided

tbh Iron Man in M85 could probably tank the Jotunheim strike. Maybe BARELY survive the Sokovia explosion

Probably ? Lol if Iron Man can survive a power stone punch in the gut, this is nothing for him.

It absolutely does. If Iron Man can survive a power stone punch in the chest, then nothing in those gifs is going to affect him, period.

@unbanpleasety: Thor was not trying to kill hulk in that particular scene, they needed Thor to at least keep him at bay or knock him out

Iron Man. He has more versatility and he did better against Thanos than Hulk.

This is a pretty good and close fight, in my opinion these are their advantages:

Strenght = Hulk

Versatility = Iron Man

Striking Power = Comparable, scaling off Thanos

Durability = Hulk but it's close since it will take dozens of punches to put Nano Iron Man down.

Speed = Iron Man

Skill = Iron Man

II believe in conclusion that IW Iron Man could go either way, EG Iron Man loses.

Would be a good fight if Iron Man sticks to his tricks to prolong the fight but I think for the majority Hulk has the far better striking out put and damage soak plus he does increase in power gradually as he gets angry.

Id agree with this breakdown outside EG Ironman loses. It was practically the same armor as Infinity War. The only difference is it wasn’t getting debut showings anymore and Thanos was fighting more aggressively

Speed,Skill and Durability might be iffy though.

@kinglouie: He one-shotted Cull Obsidian with a charged repulsor blast and dazed him with a casual left hook. Same guy who was later shrugging off punches from the Hulk-Buster (which fought an amped/blood-lusted Hulk) and worthy Cap. Making Thanos bleed with his charged punch is also a good showing considering how much tougher and more durable he is compared to Hulk.

Iron Man wins, he's faster, and generally more mobile, far more versatile (missiles lasers, bombs, shields, nano suit constructs, etc.). If we want to scale off of Pepper's nano-suit (which we certainly can), then his repulsors have been established as way above his Avengers suit (Pepper destroyed a Leviathan, Avengers Tony would run out of power before he could even break a Leviathan's armor). He can strike hard enough to stun Cull, and temp KO him with a large repulsor blast. Not to mention the fact that he's vastly more durable than Hulk. He got hit thousands of feet and through a large building by Cull and was unphased, had a building level explosion channel directly into and was back fighting in no time. He was swarmed by bats that could flay small building-sized metal structures on contact and was fine. He withstood a thousand-ton meteor slamming into him at supersonic speeds and wasn't KOed, and even after all of that he went on to take an onslaught from PG Thanos.

Iron Man's advantages:

  • Speed
  • Mobility
  • Skill
  • Versatility
  • Net damage output
  • Durability

Hulk's advantages:

  • Strength
  • Striking

Tony takes this.

@noone1996: Cull got stopped and overpowered twice by Spider-Man. Also got one tapped by B.P. he not impressive at all.

Also throughout the movies Thanos’s strength has been far below Hulk’s. Also there Durability is basically the same. Wish I could post gifs. 😡😡

@kinglouie: Cull only got knocked over by Black Panther. There’s no proof at all that he was KO’d. He also had the striking power to make Banner feel the punch through the Hulk-Buster and tear it apart. But keep lowballing.

Thanos literally overpowered Hulk at the beginning of Infinity War after shrugging off his hits. Not sure what you’re talking about. He also shrugged off and completely tanked the Infinity Gauntlet energies and snap. Meanwhile, Hulk’s arm was melted by just wearing it and had that arm in a sling days after only snapping one time lmao. He probably had medical treatment from it too whereas Thanos just teleported to an abandoned planet and became a farmer. Hulk even has resistance to that energy due to it being gamma. You’re delusional if you think Hulk is more durable than Thanos. I mean Hulk was stomped by just a weaponless lightning cloak Thor and Thanos managed to wreck him and worthy Cap several times.

@noone1996: What are you talking about? Hulk’s arm was mobile in the final battle. Hulk and Thanos have the exact same scars after the snap.

Thor, Ironman and Surtur never got Hulk to bleed but one punch form Ironman draws blood from Thanos. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I rest my case.

@kinglouie: They only had the same scars after Thanos snapped twice buddy. Hulk didn’t even snap yet and his arm was getting torn apart. Wearing the glove didn’t damage Thanos at all. Just having it on was bringing Hulk to his knees. He could barely handle it. Plus, again, he’s gamma like the gems so he should have a natural resistance. Yet he still handled it much worse. Also, Hulk didn’t use that injured arm in the final battle. Meanwhile, Thanos used that same arm to actually overpower Captain Marvel’s leg 🤣

Tony's advantage is in his regen. He can take Hulk down, but he has to do it fast, and I just can't see him doing it fast enough that Hulk doesn't get his hands on him. He's stronger, hits harder, and is more durable. Tony always tries for some CQC and that's his downfall here.

I can't believe people are actually making an argument that Thanos and Hulk are comparable in ANY way when feats and statements tell us that no single Avenger was ever a legitimate threat to Thanos. The movie shows us (quite clearly) that no matter what the Avengers did, everything they could throw at him amounted to a drop of blood. They literally show Thanos overpower Hulk via arm-lock-strength-contest trope and introduce deliberate dialogue to imply Thanos is having fun as he proceeds to dispatch Hulk in seconds. What more do you expect? For Thanos to snap Hulk's arms like twigs to show superiority? No... because he's not twice as strong, but he is comfortably stronger and miles more durable.

OT Hulk wins. Stark can't put him down fast enough.
