Who wins?

So what makes this Thor different from his EMH counterpart?

Avatar image for bladeoffury
#4 Posted by BladeOfFury (2714 posts) - - Show Bio

@modernww2fare:

Way more feats, stronger, better striking, more durable. Can control his hammer in ways EMH Thor did not exhibit.

I've never watched AA, so some gifs or images would be appreciated

Although, EMH Thor is extremely OP..he's not nearly as good as Thor from Avengers Assemble in-terms of 'outlier' feats..

@modernww2fare:

The shockwaves from his strikes/punches create city-busting tsunamis:

@cresshadow: Prove otherwise, then.

his durability is beyond what stark can pull off. unlike current comics thor is treated as the top dog in the animated universe with the feats to prove it like when he tanked hyperion's heat vision

No Caption Provided

and that same heat vision proved strong enough to obliterate a planet busting asteroid

No Caption Provided

and punch a hole in hulk's arm which lead to it breaking after he punch that spot

No Caption Provided

and speaking of hulk, thor without his hammer was able to punch back and briefly restrain a blood lusted hulk and this hulk was strong enough to carry Manhattan on his back.

No Caption Provided

he also easily took out iron clad who's durability was comparable to hulk's

thor already faced a person who could do that. ultron's clone of thor was able to do the same but thor only saw it as amusing and then proceeded to not only give more but take full control of the flow of lightning then overloaded the fake thor

@revan2424: You are kidding me.

As much as I love Iron man, stark is just plain outmatched in speed, strength, and overall damage output capabilities.

Unless we are including Thorbuster here in which case this whole post is stupid as Thorbuster held it's own against Thor with the Odinforce.

If this is Tony pre-Secret Empire then Thor probably. Tony needed Captain Marvel help to support a 50,000 tons helicarrier while Thor matches Hull strength who is 100+ millions toner, he hits hard enough to send Hulk flying from Moon to Earth, etc. And current Tony has problem with Hydra Cap so ...

Any other versions and Tony takes the win

Iron Man wins, but he might have to work a little bit for it this time.

AA Thor is no joke. The dude was creating tsunamis as an after effect from the shockwaves produced by his punches. That's insane!

@cresshadow: Well in a combat situation, Iron Man would actually just keep the energy and use it to fight Thor instead of shooting it back:

This is evident here:

Also, all Hyperion did was bust an asteroid a fraction of the size of Manhattan. Just because it would have destroyed the Earth that doesn't make it a planetary feat. That'd like saying destroying a nuclear bomb makes you city level. Iron Man destroyed an asteroid much bigger than that before:

The size of Manhattan.

Pretty sure that alone puts Hyperion's and Thor's offensive output feats to shame. Iron Man consistently does well against high tiers and powerhouses in the 616 comic universe that would one-shot all of the Avengers Assemble characters, but without relying on ABC logic and to avoid an argument about how it's PIS or they hold back, I'll just post the scans where Iron Man and Mandarin combined their energies to create an explosion so large that it not only destroyed several mountain ranges from the blast, but it was felt 7,000 miles away on the other side of Earth (China to New York):

Gallery image 1Gallery image 2Gallery image 3Gallery image 4

Iron Man created half of this blast with his repulsors and tanked this blast. AA Thor isn't doing shit. Especially when he amps Tony with his lightning spam and makes him even more powerful than he was in the scans I posted.

@thunderprince: What was the exact size of this "asteroid"? Was the asteroid space rock? Here is the actual size of the city sized mountain that Iron Man completely shattered (as opposed to splitting it in half).

No Caption Provided

Mountain is 10.2 KM tall. Taller than Mt. Everest which is 8.85 KM tall. Due to that enormous size, 4-5 mountains can fit in that mountain.

All of these feats that I've posted were performed in armors that are way inferior to his Bleeding-Edge armor.

@bladeoffury: What does "regular" Iron Man even mean? His Bleeding-Edge armor isn't some kind of overpowered or specialized suit. It was his standard armor from 2010 to 2012. Are you talking about his classic armor? Or his current one (which would be the one he had on before going into a coma)? He's had dozens of standard armors that he kept for years at a time until he upgraded to a new standard suit. There isn't any "regular" Iron Man. It depends on the time period.

Thor curbs lol at Tony surviving these strikes. It's not even that close mid difficulty but once Thor wants it over it's all lights out Tony. Bleeding edge isn't that great IMO. The ONLY armor he has a chance in is the one that took on OF Thor, literally the ONLY one, Thor creams him all other times

@thunderprince: Jesus Christ that show is terrible. Ms. Marvel was holding her own against Thor with the Destroyer armor? Really? Lmfao. Knocks him down and makes the helmet unequip. Jokes. Anyway, it's still hard to tell the size. If I take what you say at face value, it's still not as impressive as completely crumbling a mountain that size as opposed to only breaking it in half.

@destinyman75: He survived a shockwave of energy that was so powerful that, after it hit Iron Man, it ended up destroying the entire West Coast of the United States. That's three states including California. He consistently tanks hits from high tier powerhouses, but yeah let's pretend that this version of Thor is the exact same as 616 Thor. I suppose MCU Thor could beat Bleeding-Edge Iron Man too simply because his name is Thor too, right?

Avatar image for thunderprince
#44 Posted by ThunderPrince (2996 posts) - - Show Bio

@noone1996: Yeah it is a bad show, I only watch it for feats. lol. To be fair Thor was only trying to crack the asteroid in half, he wasn't trying to destroy it like Iron-man was.

carol has a lot of good feats in this show and they are most likely making her like her MCU counterpart so its not surprising that she's doing as good as she is.
