Suzaku is relative to Human Selene, who's more or less Acno tier, and Irene isn't anywhere close.

Irene's speed in her human form was relative to Alvarez arc Erza and she failed to hit her with her blasts. Note that she was pissed off. Compare that to Suzaku who casually sliced Erza's sword and one-shotted her + Natsu.

She was hurt by Erza who wasn't even using her strongest swords and by DF Wendy (albeit she had a dragon-slaying advantage, she was still strong enough to hurt her). Suzaku could tank many attacks from Selene in her human and grievously injured her with his strongest attack. It's pretty obvious that Irene would be in a bad shape after a single slash from Suzaku.

Her dragon form was reversed by a single slash from a broken bones Erza. Suzaku can tank attacks from dragon gods in their human forms.

Irene oneshots. Far above the likes of Suzaku as just a spirit let alone human form or Dragon form.

@cocacolaman: Magically exhausted Erza who is far weaker than PoF Erza (note EoS Erza pushed RoT Acno out of the sky while current Erza buffed by Wendy and imbued with DS magic) couldnt even budge a half powered Merc with the same attack.
