I came across a forum where a scan was posted of Sue putting up a force field that prevented her oppenent ( I believe it was Temptress) from using her matter manipulation against her.
Does this meen that if she put a force field up while fighting Manhattan that his power would be useless against her? What else would he have to resort to while in a fight with her?
Lets say that the fight takes place on a football field and they start 25 feet away from each other.
Who wins?
Invisible Woman vs Dr. Manhattan
The good Doc would win.
actually i over looked the fact that Manhattan can also manipulate energy. Would that allow him to manipulate Sue's field since it is an energy from hyperspace?
Sure, Sue's field could keep him out... But only the part of him that was out. He can also be inside the force field at the exact same time. Why? Because he wants to. Dr. Manhattan is the only hero who could potentially take on Spawn and win.

" @PrimeDirective said:I meant god-level Spawn. Dr. Manhattan is able to bend physics over his knee and give them a good spanking on nothing more than a mere whim. He's got total mastery over everything practically. He views time in a non-linear sense and he sees space and matter as a suggestion. If Manhattan put any real effort into it, he could in essence be like a god." Sure, Sue's field could keep him out... But only the part of him that was out. " @Morpheus_ said:We are talking...4th age (I never seem to get Spawn's versions right)? When he was equal to God and Devil? If so, then yes, there are not many superheroes who could take him." @PrimeDirective said:I meant god-level Spawn.
