@Thor's hammmer: i don't make spite threads. EVER. Now if you have knowledge of a character that makes you believe it to be a gross mismatch than please share that knowledge. But so far more than half of responders believe Genis wins. Tell us why you strongly disagree.

If this were normal Genis-Vell, you would be correct. But this is insane Genis, who destroyed and I believe reformed the Universe. The guy is powerful.
@supermanwithatan01: Dark Phoenix exists on a universal scale, if I remember correctly. The white Phoenix of the crown is the incarnation that is elevated to multiversal level, so Genis could win in quite a bunch of ways, granted this isn't a battle to the death.

So Dark Phoenix would lose, but White Phoenix would win? Thanks for clearing that up, I always assumed all incarnations of Phoenix were multiversal, and was really confused by people here saying Genis Vell would win.

I think GV would stomp PF/DP with a host. But a host-less DP should be the polar opposite of the embodiment of its multiversal abstract self--> (open for thought on this)...which also should be beyond GVs universal control of space-time.
IMO a host is pretty much a conduit for the Phoenix/DP FORCE to have a presence/influence in any given universe. In this case, GV should stomp.
@cosmic_reign: why are we assuming the Phoenix is hostless? I’m not sure what could be done to a hostless Phoenix because I’m unaware of what feats the Phoenix has without a host honestly lol.
With a host I’d take Genis everyday. Splits with WPotC 50/50 or loses a slight majority but he’s well above most other versions that I’m aware of.
