Injustice pill Ryu vs Superman

Can current Ryu with an Iinjustice pill defeat New 52 Superman?

Just what exactly does consuming an Injustice pill do?

@shiryu: It increases one's durability 1000%. It made the Joker so durable submachine gun fire tickled. It's from the Injustice Gods Among Us videogame.

You can't kille Superman with durabilty. Not like you can turn durability into a stick or something.

@shiryu: The pills give normal humans like Cat Woman and Green Arrow stats that let them fight on par with high tier characters like Superman and Flash. The pills are the explanation for how some characters in Injustice can survive things that would normally be way too much for them. Since Ryu is actually above peak human it might make him even stronger than it would a normal person.

Oh, so that's why Batman isn't immediately annihilated by some of the attacks in that game. That's a clever way to make the game make sense. I guess Superman will have his hands full here after all. But can Ryu fly?

@shiryu: I don't think so. Still, Superman isn't going to just stay in the air the whole time.

True. However, it would be a better idea for him to stay in the air and spam heat vision blasts.

@shiryu: That would usually work, but I rarely see him do it in fights so it's not a very good argument.

Okay then. So basically Clark's only way to fight Ryu is in melee, which is not good for Clark at all.

@shiryu: It's not the only way, I just can't see him trying to avoid melee completely from the start like you said he would. people sometimes forget it's the character fighting, not them.

That's really not what I was trying to do. I figured that would be Clark's behavior in character, but obviously I was wrong. I wasn't trying to come across as confrontational or anything; I was simply expressing my inability to debate effectively.

@racob7: It's not called an "Injustice Pill," silly. The Joker invented it and named it the "Happy Pill."

I'd say Ryu has a slight chance of victory here.

Durability doesn't kill, that's like saying Metapod can kill Pikachu with Harden.

It not only durability. the pill increase all your stats.

Batman gave Superman a pretty decent beating after taking the pill, although to be fair, he didn't have to contend with Clark's heat vision or flight.

Still, that hadouken would be on dbz levels.

I think Ryu has a decent chance here.
