Hashirama will win. Hashirama's wood is not an ordinary wood, it is the combination of Water and Earth Chakra Nature Transformation.
Hashirama easily immobilize the Juubi using his Deity Gates and he easily survived the detonation of at least 11 Bijuu dama enhanced by Madara's Perfect Susanoo.
Ignia is kinda a particularly bad matchup for hashirama I would say. Naruto characters have generally little to no heat resistance feats, and his wood is especially susceptible to fire. All that still might not be enough though, as hashi obviously holds every other possible advantage one could have.

What ever scaling that is wrong because Hashirama's actual feats don't hold a candle to Spriggan tier, much less a DG.
Also, I believe you've stated that Hashirama would lose to Giant Gajeel before, so Idk why you'd say he's comparable to Ignia.

It restrained the Jubi because Hashirama's power is explicitly a Biju kryptonite.
It's not going to work on non-Biju beings as shown by Madara breaking them.

Reread the manga please before making snarky comments. Wood Release is a kryptonite for anything in Narutoverse, why else do you think Wood Dragon was useful against Edo Madara? And so were his Deity Gates, he only broke them when he got Alive. And that is a completely different story and different size of Gates. Very convenient how you mentioned Alive Madara breaking Deity Gates but left out the moment when Deity Gates suppressed Edo Madara.
It's not exclusively anti Bijuu power, it is just that it was the only power that could bind Bijuus so it got the reputation. I am not debating this even if you reply, you would be objectively incorrect.

Wood Dragon specifically has Chakra absorption properties, none of his other Wood Release techniques share that ability. Maybe you should take your advice for once you tool.
