Superman can flick-kill him or one-shot with heat vision. Thanos’ only hope is the reality stone which he didn’t use as much as he should offensively. Even with speed equalized given the default starting distance of 10 ft, Superman takes a single step, extends his arm and its game over.
1) We have no reason to believe Thanos can tank any of Superman's attacks
2) Post Crisis supes couldn't even be erased by the snap attack, he has shown feats against erasure before. Notably against Darkseid's omega beams. Which erase your existence, and any sign of past existence.
@bayman007: not with speed equalised, all thanos needs is to close his fist but I'm not debating about who wins here I'm just asking if you have instances of Superman resisting reality warping
@bayman007: alright, I'll be waiting, I'm 99% sure that any resisitng Superman did either didn't happen or is terrible PIS, I don't even know how you can reference such as a valid feat for Superman, the only Superman I know who resisted Mxy is the galaxy-big bang level amped Superboy Prime, Superman should have more valid feats than that non existant or PIS scene
As for this battle like I said I'm not debating about who wins but Superman isn't closing any distance before Thanos closes his fist, he'll need super speed for that
@captainsweatpan: Yes it would depend on Thanos's opening move. Whilst Superman just needs to make contact, which many of the MCU members were able to do already.
@bayman007: game on? How does Superman do that before thanos closes his fist, literally all those things you mentioned take longer time than closing a fist
@captainsweatpan: Yes game on. You're putting your money into one move that he isn't guarenteed to do everytime of the bat, we have allready seen proof on screen.
So Supes can beat him easily, and take his glove if wanted too.
