The toughest there was there (Hulkbuster and War Machine) were already down and out. Thor's timing was as last second as it gets.

Now that I think about it, MCU Wakanda's offensive powers are pathetic. The only impressive thing they had was that energy shield surrounding the city which became useless later. War Machine alone destroyed more Outriders than all Wakandans combined.

Seriously what kind of a technologically super advanced nation fights alien foot soldiers with foot soldiers of their own, wielding spears. Wakandans should've had a swarm of drones with energy weapons flying over the Outriders and blowing them to hell.

A squadron of US Air force Apache Gunships would've blown the Outriders to kingdom come. Tanks, Armoured vehicles, couple of M134s mounted on them would've obliterated them. Even North Korea would do better than Wakanda against those Outriders. I mean they weren't even super durable or anything. Bucky slaughtered many with his gun.

If they'd simply asked for a missile strike outside of the shields it'd probably have destroyed all the outriders.

They didn't have a single ranged weapon what the hell.

Plus they didn't even use their planes in the battle. Now that I think of it Killmonger probably would've lost if he had tried to attack a superpower.

Its also stupid that people can just dig underneath the shield to come to the other side.

(Though perhaps they didn't have the firepower because they simply like idiots didn't expect war and only decided to Amp up their defensive capabilities.)

I'm going to go ahead and say no because they were getting overwhelmed. even the Hulkbuster armor was getting overwhelmed at that point.

It wouldn't matter. But the lack of significant military resistance coming from Wakanda is in no way consistent with how powerful they claim to be.

The only thing special about Wakanda is vibranium. For them they don't fight offensively because it would mean exposing who they are and the incredibly rare metal that they have, so it is rather about defense not offense

Steve, Bucky, Natasha, Okoye, M'Baku, Wanda and possibly Rhodey and Sam (if Cull knocked them out of the air with his hammer or something) would've died.

T'Challa probably would've been thrashed around and damaged severely, but still alive. Banner would've transformed into the Hulk, saving himself and he would've slaughtered many of the Outriders (but not before they've killed the others).

To make things worst for Wakanda, wasn't Killmonger's plan to take over the world? Of course, they don't have to deal with that because Killmonger is already dead, but how is he gonna do that if Wakanda's military can't even make a proper resistance against the Outriders?

And remember that Killmonger planned to conquer the planet with that army...

Wakandan spears are sonic canons that can take out tanks, but all the technology in the world means nothing when your king is T'Challa. Killmonger with Wakanda's resources isn't the same as T'Challa with Wakanda's resources.

Stark tech is indeed better than Wakanda tech. Shuri is the smartest character in the MCU... when it comes to running her mouth.

Some of them. It probably would have taken longer than that for them to hurt Black Panther. Hulk would possibly have emerged if/when they got through the HB suit, though we'll have to wait until Avengers 4 to see what it takes to draw him out again. Other than that, their only hope would have been Wanda descending onto the battlefield and doing something crazy like she did a few minutes later. But without Thor to save all of the others, Corvus would have been able to get the stone without distractions if Wanda had left Vision's side.

Honeslty Hulk would have come out. I get Hulk doesn’t want to help banner but he has to have the very basic understanding that if Banner dies he dies.

Also what you attribute to Wakanda is something that plagues pretty much all movies that have a threat that doesn't receive a response that is comparable to what our modern military could do. Heck even the Star Wars movies war scenes are laughable compared to what the numbers and destruction from our wars look like.

Except that if Banner dies. Hulk doesn't die. Hulk comes out and saves Banner from dying. This has been stated and shown within the movies.

Generally speaking, If Tchalla hadnt broken the laws of his people to overthrow Killmonger, who was and still should be still rightfully king, this battle would of probably been entirely different.

As in...modern military tactics with Vibranium tech different.
