But Superman has beaten Zod before... and I dont think Icon is that far behind Superman in strength and speed

Icon has wide range attacks though... and Superman doesnt always do well against Energy based Blasts...

Like I Said... who says Icon has to muscle it out with Superman. Icon has Energy Manipulation powers... and Superman doesnt do that well against Energy Manipulators
That would be helpful, if he was fighting Supes. He's fighting Zod, the man's a general, a soldier. An Icon has already stated that he can't beat Supes. Zod won't hold back, and is a smarter fighter. Icon goes down.

Zod is actually just under Superman, not quite at his level!
He is a Superman wannabe that is overhyped and he is not actually as strong as Supes. Also his feats are not that impressive, besides for the fact of him being Kryptonian I am unimpressed

Zod's body would react the same way to Cosmic Energy as Superman would... No matter whether he is holding back or not... and yet Zod is a General and Soldier he still lost to Superman...

Well I never said Icon wins... I was just making a case for him... Icon didnt underestimate himself... he cant physically outmuscle Superman and that was shown... but he could hurt Zod or Superman using Energy Based attacks... which he didnt seem to utilize
