I think people suspect that Batman has files on how to defeat the Hulk and will simply engage his protocols. Either that, or they're assuming this fight will take place not in the JLA book, but the Batman book, at which point, he almost always finds a way -- realistic or not -- to go toe to toe with much more powerful foes (see Superman). No one jobs like Batman...except maybe Captain America.

My guess is that Batman will try to use a derivation of the Joker's laughing gas to trigger the rage-suppressed endorphins in Hulk to calm him down. As we all know, endorphins serve as both a sedative and an analgesic. One way to boost endorphins is through laughter. I know, these battles are more about fantasy and feats than science, but at stage 1, when you're just encountering Hulk, anyone has a chance to calm him down, unless he is specifically pissed off at you.

So we are just gonna assume that Batman knows that the reason the hulk is the hulk is because of anger? OP didn't specify that there was any prep. Realistically speaking, the Hulk should one-shot batman, its not like he can dodge or evade anything the hulk brings to him.

You mean the green guy who is always shouting "the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets"? Yeah, I'm pretty sure the greatest detective in the DC universe could figure him out. Besides, the two have met before.

Believe me, if I'm writing the book there's no way Batman stands a chance. Hulk doesn't even have to hit him. He could liquefy the man in the cape just by clapping back hard enough to send shockwaves powerful enough to collapse a planet. Hell, he could just throw Bruce and the entire acre that he's standing on into orbit.

But like I said, the Batmans, Spider-Mans and Captain Americas of the comics world are protected franchises. They don't go "splat!" in most situations when they should, because of the jobber x-factor.

I think he clears every round except maybe the flashes since I can't place them powerwise honestly.
